¡Bienvenidos a Madrid!.Traslado al hotel.

Por la tarde realizaremos una visita panorámica durante la cual conoceremos los puntos monumentales más representativos de la ciudad. Por la noche incluimos un traslado a la Plaza Mayor donde podemos aprovechar para cenar y tomar unos vinos en algún mesón.

Day 2 - Madrid -Toledo-Madrid

Incluimos una excursión a la histórica ciudad de TOLEDO, protegida por el río Tajo. Sus calles medievales nos hablan de historias de cristianos, judíos y musulmanes. Tarde libre en MADRID. Esta noche, si lo desea, le proponemos opcionalmente un espectáculo flamenco.

Day 3 - Madrid - Merida - Evora -Lisbon

We leave Madrid, we travel towards the capital of Extremadura: MÉRIDA, entrance included to the archaeological complex of the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre, in an excellent state of conservation, a World Heritage Site nowadays. Time for lunch in the pleasant pedestrian historic center with lots of life and restaurants. We will continue to Portugal and make a stop in ÉVORA, a city also declared a World Heritage Site, with its white streets, its Renaissance palaces and its cathedral. LISBON, arrival in the evening.

Day 4 - Lisbon

In the morning we will have a city tour, during which we will get to know the Portuguese capital of the 7 hills, the alleys and the tiles, the "saudade" and the Atlantic light. We will also approach the Belem neighborhood, from where the great Portuguese navigators, who crossed the oceans in the 15th century, left. Free time in the afternoon to walk and go to the Bairro Alto and its viewpoint; if you´d like to, you could take an optional excursion to the towns of Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. In the evening we return from the Restauradores Square, full of atmosphere with its bars and cafes, to the hotel.

Day 5 - Lisbon -Fatima -Porto

We will head to the north of Portugal and visit FATIMA, an important sanctuary. We will continue our way to PORTO, Portugal’s second largest city. Free time to have lunch and afterwards we will have a sightseeing tour of this coastal city at the mouth of the Douro River with cobblestone streets and colorful houses, known for its imposing bridges and delicious wines. We will also include a visit to the old cellars. Free time.

Porto - Bom Jesus Sanctuary - Cambados - Santiago de Compostela

Day 6 - Porto - Bom Jesus Sanctuary - Cambados - Santiago de Compostela

On this day we will travel through beautiful landscapes. In the city of BRAGA we will get on the world’s oldest cable car to ride up to the Sanctuary of BOM JESUS, where we will enjoy its gorgeous views. We suggest walking down to admire its beautiful stairway. We will continue our trip and head to Galicia. We will visit the historic town of CAMBADOS in Rías Baixas, where we will go on a glass bottom boat trip in which we will learn about the production of mussels and oysters. Wine and mussels tasting included. At lunchtime we will arrive in SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA, where we will have the city tour with a local guide. This town was a famous pilgrimage destination since the Middle Ages.

Santiago de Compostela - Lugo - O Cebreiro - Leon - Oviedo

Day 7 - Santiago de Compostela - Lugo - O Cebreiro - Leon - Oviedo

We travel following the Way of St. James. In LUGO we will have time to visit the historic town center and Roman walls, which were declared the UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will make a stop in O´CEBREIRO, a small Galician stone village. Arrival in LEÓN at lunchtime, where we will have time to visit the Gothic cathedral with its stained-glass windows and to stroll through the historic town center.

After that we will cross the Cantabrian Range mountains on our way to Asturias. Arrival in OVIEDO in the evening. We will include (occasionally the next morning) an hour-and-a-half visit of the city with a local guide, in which we will visit its 9th century cathedral, Calatrava Congressional Palace, Campoamor Theatre and Calle de la Rua.

Oviedo - Covadonga -  Santillana - Santander

Day 8 - Oviedo - Covadonga - Santillana - Santander

We will travel to Picos de Europa. We will visit Basílica de Covadonga which is surrounded by beautiful scenery. We will resume our journey following the coastline to SANTILLANA, one of Spain’s most beautiful towns, and we will visit its well-preserved medieval quarter. We visit the National Museum and Research Centre of ALTAMIRA (ticket included) located in the vicinity of this town. We will later travel to SANTANDER, the region’s capital city, a coastal city with amazing vistas and beaches. We include panoramic city tour to discover this elegant city and its beautiful bay. NOTE: On some high difficulty dates (especially in summer from July to mid September), some groups can be accommodated in Bilbao.

Day 9 -

Seguimos la autopista junto a la costa del Cantábrico. Algunos de los paisajes entre la montaña y el mar son de gran belleza. BILBAO, llegada a la mayor ciudad del País Vasco. Con guía local, realizamos una visita de la ciudad donde destaca el Museo Guggenheim con su impactante arquitectura exterior y el casco viejo, antiguo núcleo medieval con sus calles llenas de vida y su catedral. Tiempo libre para pasear y almorzar. Recomendamos el Mercado de La Ribera que ofrece puestos con la típica gastronomía vasca en una estructura parecida a un barco ubicada frente al río.Tras la hora del almuerzo saldremos a GUERNICA, conocido por ser el lugar donde se libró una de las peores masacres de la Guerra Civil Española recordada en la pintura de Pablo Picasso. Acá se encuentra el árbol de Guernika, bajo cuyas ramas se otorgó autonomía al País Vasco en la Edad Media. Seguimos hacia HONDARRIBIA (Fuenterrabía), con sus playas, sus murallas, su ambiente marinero y su centro histórico donde sorprende el trazado cuadriculado de sus calles angostas y adoquinadas. Tiempo en el casco histórico. Continuación a SAN SEBASTIAN, llegada al final de la tarde. Sugerimos conozca la “Parte Vieja" famosa por sus animados bares de pintxos y su ambiente vibrante, destino popular para los amantes de la gastronomía. Cada establecimiento tiene su propia especialidad y estilo, lo que hace que explorar y probar diferentes pintxos sea una experiencia emocionante y deliciosa.

Day 10 - San Sebastián - Burdeaux

In the morning in San Sebastián we will include the cable car to go to Monte Igueldo, where we will enjoy the great view over the bay. After that we will have free time to explore its great beach or stroll along its boulevards. After lunch we will go to France. BORDEAUX, arrival in the evening. We suggest taking a walk through the city center.

Bordeaux -Lourdes

Day 11 - Bordeaux -Lourdes

The entire center of Bordeaux has been declared a world heritage site. You will be amazed by the “water mirror” and stroll through the old town with its pedestrian streets and 11th century cathedral. We will include admission (free visit with audio information in English, Spanish or French) to the CITE DU VIN, an impressive interactive museum that recounts the history of the wine and its production; wine tasting included at the viewpoint over Bordeaux. You will have free time later to stroll and have lunch on the banks of the Garonne River, an area full of small restaurants. We continue our way towards the Pyrenees, arriving to LOURDES in the mid-afternoon. We have time to see the sanctuary (we recommend attending the candle procession). Dinner included.

Day 12 - Lourdes -Carcassonne -Foix -Andorra

We travel through the south of France, CARCASSONNE, time to explore and have lunch in this city
famous for its medieval walls, its impressive castle and the picturesque historic district (la Cite). After that we continue towards the Pyrenees mountain range. FOIX, a brief stop to stroll through the medieval city dominated by its impressive castle of the Counts of Foix. We continue towards the high mountains of the Pyrenees, with snowy peaks all year round. We enter ANDORRA, a small country whose official language is Catalan. On our route we make a short stop next to SANT JOAN DE CASELLES, a small Romanesque church from the 12th century. We continue to ANDORRA LA VELLA, capital of the principality of Andorra, free time to get to know the city with a lot of commercial life, or
you can go to “Caldea”, the largest thermal spa in Europe. Dinner included.

Day 13 - Andorra -Montserrat -Barcelona

We will have free time in ANDORRA for shopping and exploring. After lunch, we will continue our trip and head to Catalonia. The mountain countryside leads us to the impressive site of the MONTSERRAT MONASTERY, where you will go up the mountain on a rack train to see its fantastic scenery. Following this we will continue to BARCELONA, arriving in the late afternoon.

Por la mañana incluimos una visita panorámica de la ciudad condal, considerada como una de las capitales europeas más interesantes, abierta al mar Mediterráneo, afamada por Gaudí y por su arquitectura modernista sin olvidar sus ramblas y los recuerdos de las Exposiciones Universales y olimpiadas que allí tuvieron lugar. Tarde libre. Por la noche incluimos un traslado al Maremagnum, vanguardista centro de ocio y restaurantes junto al mar y la Plaza Colón.

Barcelona - Peniscola - Valencia - Madrid

Day 15 - Barcelona - Peniscola - Valencia - Madrid

We will travel south along the Mediterranean, making a special stop in PEÑISCOLA, a small walled town on the shores of the sea, where we will have time for a stroll. We will then travel to VALENCIA, a port city on the Levantine coast, in which we will arrive at lunch time. Will you try the famous paella? At 16:30 hrs. approx. we will continue our route to Madrid, making a brief stop at the avant-garde City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia. Arrival to MADRID at 20:30/21:00 hrs. and transfer to the Plaza Mayor, always a busy and common place to go out to have some pinchos or wine in one of its numerous mesons.

Note: Depending on the number of passengers, the journey from Valencia to Madrid might be carried out by high-speed train.
