“A very warm welcome by Jeff and his team!, we were well looked after. We stayed in room 414 which was spacious and clean with comfortable king size bed. Couldn't fault the hotel, we liked everything.Park & ride just down the road which was perfect for the trip into the city centre.Had a wonderful long weekend, thank you”

“The BEST place to stay if you have a dog.
I have stayed at countless different places with a dog over the years and this hotel was hands down the best. We were there for three nights and this hotel made our holiday. The customer service from all the staff were second to none. They waited on us hand and paw! We felt so welcome and at home. Sometimes traveling/holidaying with a dog can be stressful but this hotel and York in general couldn't be more dog friendly. There are some beautiful grounds and walks in the immediate surroundings of the hotel that were perfect for dogs. The room decor was a bit dated, but charming, clean and peaceful. Food was really yummy and had good variety.
