“Beautiful hotel! Breakfast was great, and everyone was so friendly! I loved all the “good mornings!” They even have a military/government rate! We had the suite, which had everything to keep us comfortable for our extended stay. Stainless steel appliances, extremely comfy king-sized bed, large shower and vanity, cozy towels, marble counter tops, a swivel TV, plenty of storage space, etc. Our suite looked exactly like the pictures on their website!”

“The property is well-maintained, quiet and with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The pool area and fire pits were lovely! We have not tried the breakfast or used other facilities provided such as the gym, pool, outdoor grills or laundry, as it is just a quick road trip stopover for us. Unfortunately, inconsistent replenishment of room items made for a slightly inconvenient stay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite. For the price of over $400/night, including dog fee of $75, we expected everything to be in order. Coffee machine was missing its filter basket and pot, so was unusable. Although the room was advertised to sleep six, there were zero soup spoons, only two mugs, and other utensils and plate supplies were depleted. One of the baths was missing soap. Is it a housekeeping oversight, or is management cutting corners? To be fair, we have had a hard time finding a consistently well managed place to stay in the Columbia area for our trips from Maine to Florida. This was slightly better than Townplace Suites, Columbia, where we stayed last year, but in a area with fewer dinner options. Also, we would have liked a coffee table, a fridge that opened in the right direction, a desk chair for the desk in the living room. That being said, we appreciated the ample number/kind of outlets, dim ambiance lighting (though some guests may need brighter task lighting for reading, cooking or working), good hvac system that was quiet and consistent, great water pressure and excellent inter and intra room soundproofing. It gets four stars because it is the best place we have found to stay in Columbia so far.”
