“A nice place to stay, the location was the best part for us. It was a bit outside of Sedona but close enough to everything we wanted to do. The mattresses were very firm, too firm for our comfort. We didn't receive any room cleaning during our stay. Which is fine at resorts that offer a discount or reduce their charge because of it. That is not done here. There was an unexpected resort fee on check-in and I'm not sure what it was for. I guess this place is supposed to be a vacation resort but doesn't offer any resort amenities. No coffee or drinks (not even water) in the clubhouse, no continental breakfast, and no pleasant staff. On check-in they try to get you to sign up for a two hour sales pitch if you visit the concierge desk for your free welcome package. The welcome package is two magazines that are just advertising. And the concierge is just their name for sales people. They don't do what concierge desks typically do for guests at other resorts.”

“We spent three nights there and enjoyed the stay. We didn't partake in any on-site activities (e.g. pool). The rooms were clean, everything in the kitchen worked, but they were also showing their age. I was happy at how quiet the property is even with a busy road nearby. It's out on the edge of town, so the night skies and sunset views on the surrounding mountains are nice. I wouldn't let the location dissuade you from staying here. We never felt like it was a burden to drive 10 minutes downtown.”
