I wish I could give this place we love a higher rating. However, the elevator in our building is broken, the hot tubs in the Naegle 11 and 12 are broken, the steam room is broken. The Holiday Inn Club Vacations is more concerned with calling our room to offer a $100 gift card to buy a timeshare than they are with pooling that money to fix and maintain their amenities. I mean, take the hot tub off the website if it’s not working. My son and I came up last year and guess what - no working hot tub AND we got stuck in the elevator! It’s sad because my wife’s family has been coming up here for 35+ years ever since they bought their timeshare at the Ridge. I just wish these new owners would focus on maintaining and operating the facilities so we can enjoy our vacation. Super bummed. Although, first world problems. In other news, the snow at Heavenly was great!

Good for skiing, fairly spacious, some great views when looking down the valley, friendly staff, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen. I would definitely go again during ski season with friends. The maintenance of the properties is ok. They have many buildings and are currently investigating so the future will tell where it goes. Parking is easy. The little “express” gondola to go to the slope is a marketing hack and a joke. When there is no one, it is great but ski season, it is totally ridiculous and can not cope with the volume of skier 8 at a time… the pool, hot tub and the spas including the changing room at the rec center do need a big upgrade. The condition is passable. Overall it is a good 3 star property which I would recommend. At the end it all depends how much you pay for it.

Our room is great with beautiful views except for the fact that our jacuzzi tub, sleep number bed doesn't work and my son got an electrical shock from the fireplace screen. Other than that the room and service are great. Now depending on how they handle this situation will determine weather the stars go up or down. Well the outcome was definitely greater than I expected, Samantha took really good care of our family and went above and beyond to make our stay well worth it. ❤️ Definitely worth all five stars and I will recommend coming here to this resort to my family and friends. Again thank you Samantha for dealing with and coming up with an alternative solution that made my family very happy. After getting to speak with the manager Nina, what a remarkable person they have to manage Holiday Inn Club Resort seriously they couldn't have picked a better person for the job. She has made sure that we were happy and satisfied with our outcome and even went above and beyond our own expectations to make sure when we left that we were happy and satisfied. Thank you so very much Nina, it was a pleasure speaking with you and we will definitely be back especially after all the renovation is complete. Can't wait to see what you guys here do to improve everything, I'm sure it will be even more amazing than it is now....

Rooms are good and cozy. Fireplace in a one bedroom is a nice touch, and we had most of the kitchen items we needed. Service is pretty good, and it's nice having a store and restaurant on premise. Transportation to town is difficult, and cost us quite a bit in Uber fees. Shuttle to town only runs every couple of hours and ends early on weekdays. Restaurant and bar there were decent, but not great. Absolutely reserve a ski shoe trip. Views are breathtaking. This one is hard because there are things I absolutely love, and things that could be better. 5 stars in some ways, 3 stars in others. We may return in the future.

I am impressed with the accommodations and convenience of this property. Shuttle to South Lake Tahoe is a wonderful Benifits. The area has a lot to offer with hiking, horseback riding, dining, casinos, golf and biking. Would recommend this resort to anyone who either wants a ski resort in the winter or a relaxing oasis in the spring, summer and fall. The view of the east valley from our room was amazing. We did encounter a few set backs but it is difficult to blame the Property. We arrived and had two days with no TV, after TV was up an running, we lost power for a few hours then the Internet went down for a couple days. People should be aware that you are on a mountain in the middle of rural America so things like this will happen.
