“I came here to get away from the sound of leaf blowers. The Lagoon view is not bad ..its quite beautiful actually......it’s peaceful with birds in the morning ..........but then I’ve been woken up by leaf blower’s the last couple days...ALL DAY :( had to escape the room.
Another point. I would like to be plastic free on my vacation. I brought my own Refillable bottle and I appreciate they offer water in the lobby to refill. However I noticed they use single use plastic shampoo bottles and conditioner and body wash in the shower.
I have walked up and down the beach and noticed tons of micro plastics..... a Hotel of this brand should know better and wake up.... install dispensers in all the showers and discourage the use of water bottles.... eventually tourists will get the idea and bring their own refillable bottles........That’s my solution”

“My stay at the Westin was a pleasant surprise, the staff are friendly and attentive, the beach and pool area are a comfortable place to spend the day with everything you need nearby. The rooms were spacious and clean with all the amenities you would need. The Westin also seems to be making an effort to be eco-friendly, which is appreciated! Overall I would recommend and return to this place for a second stay if in Cancun again!”
