“None smoking room All was good”

“The lighting in the hotel room was dimmed. They give you a butch of lamps that aren’t bright. The room itself is one, in the corner of the bed, very much pointless. Anyways, my overall problem with the hotel experience is that I ask for the third floor. Left a note a week before my trip and was given the option of first or second. My hotel bedroom door would never ever lock. I didn’t know this until I left and came back with my door pretty much push open ready. I called the front desk. They told me the maintenance guy would come up in the morning. Didn’t even offer me to move room. Just called because they heard of a complaint. Yeah! I’m over here on my stay trying to figure out how to get the door to lock cause I need to get started on my trip to Houston!!! But no, I’m here fooling around with your door that refuses to lock. Eventually by 1pm, “in the morning”, he showed up and told me all I need to do is lift the door up a little for it to lock. Are you serious? When I close the door, I have to hold it up at the same time. Seriously, What a freaking hassle but I did it anyways cause I was just over it. Honestly, would I stay at this hotel again. No. Would I recommend them. No. The only good this is they are located in a decent area. Next to a shopping plaza and not too far from the highway. Which is everything out of the hotel. Bathroom towel was dirty. The blanket was... well there wasn’t no comforters. The bed was old as hell with all type of marking. I don’t know. Next time, I don’t care how last minute the trip is... I’ll pay the extra couple of dollars. Best Western Sugarland you guys need to do better.”
