I stayed here after arriving at SFO late in the evening. The hotel was near the rental car center and was relatively easy to get to. Check-in was good -- plenty of staff at the front desk who were able to assist. The room appeared to be new, but already showed signs of wear -- most likely from by cheap building materials you'd expect from a budget brand hotel. The room lacked lighting and power outlets... I also found a dirty Q-tip sticking out between two couch cushions. The bed was crisp, clean and comfortable. I dint have any issues with noise from outside or adjacent rooms. Oddly, there wasn't a bedside alarm clock, so it was a nuisance to get up and find out what time it was. The hotel restaurant was a bit over priced...I paid $7.00 for a glass of ice and a splash of orange juice... it was a bit pricey for a non-alcoholic beverage with a late night snack. I didn't get the name of the bartender, but he provided great service! Overall, the hotel was OK. I didn't have any major issues with the place, but I've stayed at better Double Tree hotels.

I would rate this 5 stars but the layout of the building was very poor. No easy way to take the stairs. Always waiting for an elevator. The beds were comfortable. The shower was beautiful but the flow was weak. The rooms HVAC was well equipped for the heat. The room coffee machine was decade only. The restaurant was great and affordable.

Honestly not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I had a great experience. United issue so I had a voucher. Room was great; modern and clean. Front desk was very pleasant and helpful and efficient. Shuttle worked as advertised. Tip: you can use a food voucher at the canteen and while there was no beer, the ready to drink whiskey drink is delicious.

Nice people, but they unfortunately didn't know what they were doing. From booking my room to an already occupied room, to not knowing how to charge beverages to my room, to taking over 1/2 hour to check me in with a reservation. The hotel itself is clean and really close to the freeway and airport. Rooms are spacious, and the hotel dies offer shuttle to and from airport.

I wanted to give this place five stars because of it's accessibility from the airport. The place is decent and clean, they have nice continental breakfast and fitness amenities. One thing that turned me off was the person in charge at the desk at night named, FRANCESCA MCBRIDE. My wife called and asked for an extra roll of toilet paper, because we have a child on board. I went to her desk to pick up the toilet paper roll, to save them time 'coz it was already late to avoid waking us up in case they deliver it late. As I approached her and told her what I was there for, she gave me an attitude, and exclaimed "WHAT!!", and told me it will be delivered in our room, I went back to our room and waited but they haven't delivered the toilet paper roll, so I decided to go downstairs to follow it up. Again, she gave me an attitude, then I told her she's being rude. She said, she's not , but her eyes were almost sticking out of their sockets, as she reiterated that the requested items will be delivered. She might throw the "race card" to deny my allegations, in that case I'll be throwing the "race card " too, saying that she's being rude , because I'm Asian. She's was annoying and irritating on her approach to me but she's so jolly and nice when talking to Caucasians. In my opinion she doesn't belong at her field of work, she's poor on customer service, and made think twice on coming back to any Holiday Inn Hotels.

Maintained well for an older hotel. The front desk looks was user friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were good, too. Watch out for the convenience shop-several of the food items had expired. But McDonald’s is right next store for a late night treat!

Very nice front desk staff! Unfortunately they are a bit behind in technology in their key card system. Keys constantly kept demagnetizing throughout my stay. I stay all over and for being located in the Silicon Valley they need to upgrade their system. Also I’ve never seen to many IHG Express hotels that don’t have a side entrance. Every side entrance had an alarm and the only way into the hotel is through the front door. I understand this might be for safety, but this is very inconvenient if your room is located at on end or the other. Also charging for parking with a hotel that’s not located in a downtown area or actually in the city is horrible customer service. They could at least hide it in the rate, this is supposed to be a Holiday Inn Express.

The hotel staff was lovely. And I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is located right next to the conference center which was super convenient. There is not much around the hotel to do. You have to drive to get to restaurants and the hotel staff will tell you not to walk. I did Uber eats food and it was very easy and convenient. The rooms were clean and upgraded with modern fixtures. The beds were comfy. If you are looking for a view, I am sorry to say that you really get one here as it is located in an industrial part of town. However, it is a nice place for business and to attend conferences right next door.

I chose this hotel in part because they were supposed to have a free shuttle from airport to the hotel. But the shuttle doesn't run between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., so we had to take a $25 taxi ride instead. There's a lot to like about this hotel. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. They have a business center, fitness room, and a terrific indoor hot tub. The fitness center could use either carpeting or mats because their wood floor is very hard if you need to lay down. Breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs, two kinds of sausage, biscuits, etc. But their cinnamon rolls were not the wonderful HIE cinnamon rolls I've grown to love. So on the whole, the hotel was not bad, just disappointing.

I went with some friends over President's Day Weekend and we got two rooms. We had a great stay there. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were great, and the customer service was wonderful. The elevator was really nice, especially because one of my friends was in a wheelchair. The staff was more than accommodating. We put a "do not disturb" on our doors so I can't speak for the cleaning service, but when we got there the rooms were clean. Minor issues: There weren't liners in the trash cans and we weren't sure how to change the temperature of the room. So one night my friends slept in a cold room. We called maintenance and apparently you just had to open a latch on the radiator. It might be nice to have that mentioned either at the front desk or in the room. The view we had was just of a concrete structure, but it didn't bother us. We were there to explore San Francisco, not sight-see from our bedrooms. Some downsides: We got 3 keycards for each room and at least 2 of them didn't work. We got new ones but some of them still didn't work. In the room we stayed at, the door would lock but it was finicky about opening, even with a key card that worked. It was nice that they had a hot tub, but when we turned the jets on it got super sudsy (maybe over chlorinated?). Overall, highly recommend. A hotel chain you can trust, is reasonably priced, and is close to major attractions in San Francisco.
