“I experienced, for the first time in my life, extreme racism at this hotel. At the reception, the manager would not let me check-in because I am Lebanese. He refused my check-in and was extremely disrespectful in the way he was addressing me giving the excuse that he cannot recognize my Pfizer Biotech double vaccination. As a student at Bocconi University and a resident in Italy, I was using my vaccination certificate everywhere and it was perfectly fine because it is a EMA certified one. I showed the law to the manager and gave him the right article number that mentions That I am good to go but he kept on saying that I cannot be at his hotel because of my nationality. I was a very loyal client to the NH hotel chain but they have lost my respect.”
