Ocean el Faro
Located on the seafront overlooking the idyllic beaches of Punta Cana, the Ocean El Faro is a newly built five-star resort that opened its doors in late 2018. It features water attractions including large swimming pools, a calm stream with a gentle current, ideal for relaxing and letting go, as well as a family area with a water park. The resort, located in the Uvero Alto area, also has spectacular rooms, a wide range of themed restaurants, a Despacio Spa Centre, Privilege, Exclusive Rooms and Services and a full programme of entertainment for the whole family. In July 2019, the hotel will open an exclusive area for guests 18 and over with specialized services and leisure activities.

“First time traveler. Wow. Excellent resort. It was through the lens of COVID protocols. So less staff, no swim up bar. On the plus side, less people/tourist, staff very friendly, lots of quiet and shady spaces. Typical sales pitch, day one, and aggressive beach sales guys. Couldn't help but think of Vin Diesel, family memes. Would go back again”

“Carlos our butler was excellent, the pool bar staff are amazing. The restaurant staff let the place down. Often moody and wait times are ridiculous. Food is good here in all restaurants. Overall lovely place, plenty to do. Beach isn’t great, rocky and very rough but still very enjoyable.”
