My stay was nice the hotel was nice.However, to be charged a fee of $37.88 as Honor Bar was surprising.I reached out to accounting to ask about charges on the bill, they were responsive and nice.However to be told that this charge was for the DND sign. ( Do Not Disturb sign )!! I find this completely shocking that I would be charged to have privacy with my wife.Is this something new Marriott is doing, I am very upset by this charge and practice.

My stay at The Liberty was great but not without some minor faults.The good: 1. Location wise it was close to all attractions including the bridge to Cambridge. Therefore, it was easy to just park the car and walk around 2. Ambiance/decor - very chic but also a tad of cigar/bar room style. As this was an prison previously there was a motif of keys all over the room 3. The room and bathroom were spacious and cleanThe bad: 1. Parking is valet only. $60/night.Not cheap. But it is convenient. They will send you a valet ticket to your phone which contains a link where you can click a button to request your car 2. No microwave in the room 3. Complimentary coffee/tea was only available for a short window in the morning. It would be nice if it were available at all times 4. Some minor wear and tears on furniture, wallsOverall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. Nice decor throughout with decent customer service.Just Beware -The lobby becomes a nightclub and is very loud where music will be heard from many locations throughout the hotel.Other areas of noise concern are in the rooms.You can hear adjoining rooms conversations and showers as well water running through pipes in walls/ceilings.

What a perfect experience we had at the Liberty Hotel. First of all, the building is absolutely stunning, rich with history with a luxury feel and a 5 star level of service. Valet was very easy, the attendants were professional and friendly and we didn't find the prices for parking to be any higher than any other city we've stayed in. Upon check-in we were greeted by a friendly desk agent who offered a seamless check-in and a glass of wine. We stayed with our family of 4 in a double queen with 2 dogs and the room size wasn't enormous but it fit our needs. The mini-bar was fully stocked and there were luxurious bathrobes in the bathrooms. I really liked that there were easy areas to walk the dogs from this hotel, which was a key reason we chose it - great location and very accommodating to pets. The restaurants were amazing, we experienced stellar service at Scampo for dinner - they were very accommodating to our picky kids, while also delivering on a delicious menu for my husband and I. Breakfast was amazing in the a.m. at Clink, and I appreciated the fresh roasted coffee that the hotel had available in the lobby in the a.m. Overall, this was an amazing experience and I will be staying here for sure the next time I'm in Boston.

The hotel itself is nice but the beds are uncomfortable the pillows are flat and shower is very small. The air-conditioning was inconsistent and we had clothing come up missing from our room. We found the food to be good but expensive. If you are looking for a ghostly experience trying staying in room 1004. We found he or she likes to visit you at night when the room is as dark as possible. Hope you sleep better than we did!

We stayed two nights at The Liberty while visiting Boston recently. The experience was mixed. The lobby is absolutely gorgeous and the history of it being a prison (and elements retained) is very cool. The room was pretty small, but nicely decorated and in good shape. However, the water pressure in the shower was so weak, it was challenging even for a man with short hair to wash it and the sink did not drain at all. Room rates aside, the pricing at this hotel is outrageous. For example, parking for overnight guests is a whopping $69! A very small glass of basic orange juice at breakfast is $7! A regular cup of coffee is $8. Breakfast for 3 people was $167!In-room bar prices are also insane - a pre-made cocktail (which cost 4 for $24 at Costco) was $46 for one!!! A $46 pre-made cocktail!!! Just absurd.

Beautiful and historic (from a very unique reason), my stay at The Liberty didn't disappoint. Convenient to Boston Logan Airport, the property was lively but very comfortable. Plenty of great dining options; I enjoyed evening cocktails and breakfast at CLINK and dinner at Scampo. All were terrific with top notch service. Highly recommended if you're interested in a fun but plush stay.

Rooms are a bit overpriced for what you get. The showers are far too small and crammed if you’re relatively tall. However the tubs are very spacious. The gym could have a major overhaul, it’s way too small in there with limited equipment. It’s very interesting that this was a former old jail however something has to be done with the air conditioning in the lobby. It was incredibly hot and stuffy there - they want people to enjoy the DJ’s on the weekend that are centered in the middle of the lobby however it’s hard to do so when it’s stiflingly hot inside. Also, apparently the night club and outside area attached to it is independently owned and not affiliated with the hotel. Don’t bother ordering drinks there, no comparison to what the hotel’s are however not all guests may know this and end up grouping their overall experience in with their stay. They really shouldn’t be independent because the drink quality was pathetic. Anyway, very interesting and cool hotel but it could definitely use some work for the value.

The liberty, era originalmente una prisión, ahora puedes encontrar restaurantes que muestran como estaban las celdas originalmente, si subes las escaleras hacia el lobby principal y te diriges hacia la izquierda hay una explicación de cómo fue construida la prisión y el proceso de restauracion.

El Liberty hotel está situado en un emplazamiento excepciona, tan solo a pasos del Massachusetts General Hospital. El espacio del hotel es bastante curioso, conservando su arquitectura original y sus celdas. El servicio es magnífico, y el restaurante bastante bueno, aunque sus precios un poco elevados.
