“I stayed here two nights over Easter. Valet workers were kind and always available so paying the $35/day valet fee was worth it. When we checked in, there were no carts to be seen and when we asked we were just nonchalantly told “doesn’t look like there’s one down here” with no effort to help. That just really sucked after driving 8 straight hours and having to take multiple trips up to the room. When we arrived, we only had to wait a few minutes for someone to come to the front desk, but at times during our stay there was no one to be found and I observed a line of 5 people deep with their luggage just waiting. We checked in fine, but there was a couple behind us who came to complain that they had already moved rooms twice because of dirty rooms and needed to move again because there was soap scum wiped on surfaces and other signs that the room hadn’t been cleaned. Our room was clean and we had no issues; however, it wasn’t restocked. I would not plan on using their complimentary body wash or shampoo/conditioner because the canisters in the shower had old, separated product and were not refilled. I had to call down to the front desk the next morning when I went to shower, as I realized we had no towels other than two washcloths tucked away under the sink. I was told by the woman at the front desk that she would look herself and if she didn’t have any, she would send housekeeping up. 40 minutes later my boyfriend went down to the front desk (it was a little after 8:30am) inquiring about what was going on, and he was then informed that housekeeping had just arrived. That would have been very pertinent info to receive during my first call, as it was Easter morning and it set back our morning plans. There is no dresser, closet, or garment rack in which to hang clothes. If you bring your own hangers you might find 2 or 3 knobs to hang something off of. There was a footstool with two small drawers located near the bathroom and two small end table drawers. We had a fine experience for just a night or two, but I wouldn’t stay again just because of the lax service and cleanliness issues.”

“Greetings, I was not pleased at all with this Aloft. Aloft is one of my favorite hotels & this one did not measure up AT ALL. If you like Aloft or Marriott do not reserve a room here. The floor was sticky in the room & rug was visibly filthy. The lobby wasn’t clean as well. I asked for my room to be cleaned and it wasn’t. When I inquired, the front desk clerk said they only clean the rooms with guest check out. Keep in mind, I stayed two nights. That information should have been shared initially when I requested my room to be clean. The only good thing about the Aloft in downtown Savannah is that it is walking distance to everything & good location for tourist. However, there are other hotels nearby that should be better. Overall, I do not recommend. This is the worst Aloft ever !!!”
