“I stayed at Lido House in the Bay cottage for the first time and this is my experience. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by valet who was focused on providing a great customer service experience which I appreciated. My experience with the front desk checking in was the opposite. I was not greeted with the same level and it felt transactional. After completing my transaction the front desk clerk pointed directions to the room. There is no walk thru the property nor introduction to your cottage. They did hand me a piece of paper with some info but you are pretty much on your own to figure things out and how everything works in your cottage.
Spending 4K for two nights you would think you would at the very least stay in a clean and functional room. The couches had stains. The roof top chairs had mold and we refused to sit on them. The shower in the master bedroom had a busted hose so every time you turned it on water would explode everywhere. The master bedroom had a big drawer that was also busted and stayed in the open position. They had a toaster under the kitchen sink that also looked dirty that was next to a roll out floor mat that had a big stain in the middle of it. I did like the location being close to Lido Marina Village and other amenities but I would definitely stay somewhere else.”
