“This is without a single doubt in my mind the best hotel to stay at in Rio if not in all of brazil. It is historically iconic which I totally love and the level of service is unmatched. I requested glass Evian water and the hotel did not have if but an hour later it was in our room waiting for me to enjoy. The spa here is not all that but the products in the spa are a must. They have an amazing collection of towels and eye masks and robes you have to snag them. Love everything about this hotel. Super safe!”

“The hotel is 100 years old next year, it has history, it’s classic and classy.
The staff is well trained and the most polite and attentive I ever had ( and I’ve traveled a lot) the service is impeccable!
We asked to switch rooms due to allergies and they gave us a better suite and also didn’t charge us for the first night. This hotel was on the top of my list and it didn’t disappoint me.
I definitely recommend it.
