“Currently staying in this resort. Let me tell you, if you have reservations here and have been to other resorts in the region before, CHANGE YOUR RESORT BEFORE ARRIVING! We are stay in the privileged romance room. If this is how we are getting treated I feel sorry for the people in the basic rooms. We booked in Dec 5, 2021 till Dec 19, 2021. We have not eaten in 24hrs due to the sanitary conditions of this resort. They rinse cups at the pool in standing water that sits there all day. While at the buffet yesterday I found mouse droppings on our table. The food is horrible whether at one of the restaurants or the buffet. Customer service does NOT exist here. We usually stay at the Grand Sunset Princess which is just a short distance from this resort. While the Princess has its short comings the customer service is second to none. We have asked 5 times to have our fridge replaced and have been told there is nothing wrong with the one we have. This fridge doesn't cool or keep anything cold. In my opinion the fridge is closer to a microwave than cooler/fridge. We were told they were going to send us to another resort yesterday. Today, the story has changed. We are here celebrating our anniversary and my wife's Birthday (Dec 8). It definitely will be an unforgettable vacation... We are by far picky people, but when it comes to health protocols especially with Covid this is not acceptable. They can say they follow health guidelines and are in compliance all they want.Please people for your safety and the safety of your family, please do NOT stay here. Please read all the other negative reviews. Those reviews are accurate. While in Playa a couple days ago even the locals said that this resort is not good. The positives to staying here, the beach is gorgeous...9 Days left. This is worse than prison.... Room# 4114 aka cell#4114It goes without saying, the 1 star is only because I have to choose between 1-5”

“Overall we had a good vacation. I’m not a picky person, this resort was a good price for my family of 4 with two rooms. We upgraded to privileged, and if we hadn’t, I don’t think my stepdaughter would have stayed in their room. The premium rooms are not that nice. We had great rooms with jacuzzis in the privileged! The privileged restaurant is good but we only went one time cuz they never seemed to be open when we wanted to eat there. The buffet was surprisingly good! The Japanese was so good. The Italian eh not so much. Nothing else was open while we were there. The hotel is definitely showing signs of neglect. The seaweed is really bad, I know it’s this time of year but it seemed like they didn’t even try and therefore it created a bad smell throughout the whole trip. The pool showed signs of wear and the furniture wasnt looking too hot. Although, like I said , we’re not picky so we had an overall great time. Would I stay again? Eh probably not, unless the price was right.”
