“The hotel offers fantastic views, including access to the beach that stretches for miles on each end. The staff is very friendly, helpful and gracious. It’s visible they are working very hard to make everyone’s stay as enjoyable as possible. It is true that there are some inconveniences due to COVID. Check-in did take us over 1 hour and was not the smoothest experience. We didn’t mind the other restaurant being closed, I think it’s fair enough given the need for extra space but having some clarity on what is and isn’t available before booking the holiday would be helpful. Neither TUI nor the hotel website gives that information. What was most annoying was the room key cards that kept on demagnetising when in close proximity to a mobile phone, and the constant need to go back to the reception to have that fixed was frustrating. The hotel was at full capacity during our stay and there were moments when we either couldn’t get a pair of loungers by the pool as all were taken or there weren’t enough umbrellas to get some shade. It’s surprising and for a 4 star hotel unacceptable. I would come back again but perhaps not during the peak holiday period.”
