If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. We drove 15 hrs from Chicago to visit family and this was the WORST hotel experience that I have had in my life. The hotel is dated, the customer service is very low and they have roaches. I will upload the videos as well so everyone can see. We had to be moved to three different rooms. After we told them that there were roaches in the first room we were moved to a room with more roaches. They then moved us to the third floor and we double checked to make sure that it was clear. For our second night of stay we got back late and saw that there were roaches in the bathroom. We took towels and put themunder the door and stayed up allll night watching our kids sleep because the other hotels did not have hot water which meant we were unfortunately stuck. I also requested new linens which they never brought up to us. Went to the front desk and asked to speak with the manager and she clearly had an attitude for me just asking that. I mentioned the issue and she didn't apologize and acted like this was a normal thing. She simply sis, "I'll take $25 off your stay" and I was astonished and asked her was she serious and she said yes and that I chose to stay there lollll! Mind you were were moved to a room that we thought were clear of roaches and came back that night to find them again. I will be reaching out to corporate and also posting our evidence. This was, hands down, the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in. As a family who does an immense amount of travel, we typically focus on clean, safe, and close to our attractions. We know we are usually only in a room to sleep, we don't need every amenity. The first room we were given had water pooled below the air conditioner in an amount we didn't feel could simply be soaked up with a towel. So they moved us to a different room and it was worse than the first. While we felt safe here, the rooms felt like motel rooms. Floors were absolutely filthy, the bathroom had urine caked behind the toilets as well as hair... so much hair. I didn't even want my kids to take out their toothbrushes here. I took photos if it will allow me to attach them. We were only in the area for one evening for an important event, we arrived late in the afternoon and did not have adequate time to find another hotel. I didn't want to even have the bedding near my face. If your standard is typically clean with a decent continental breakfast... look elsewhere. Gag a magget!! Tried to find air by opening a window and turning on air conditioner. It was overwhelming.The taste would not go away. I tried to drink grape juice and that didn't work. It was causing a headache and i could feel it in my throat and lungs. The floors had an oily, sticky residue.The beding was lumpy and didn't appear clean and fresh. I went to the receptionist who said she could smell something like someone was "cooking some stank tuna"! It smelled chemical to me like a mechanic workshop or something.She showed me another room whitch also had the oily floors and horrid smell. She attributed to not having the air conditioner going. The hallways were dirty and you could hear babies crying and other people from their rooms. How they could stand the atmosphere is beyond me. We couldn't stay there and the receptionist graciously refunded our money. Needless to say....if I could rat this less than one I definitely would.The only positive thing was the receptionist was gracious and understanding. O cheiro! Ela me mostrou outro quarto que também tinha o chão oleoso e um cheiro horrível. Ela atribuiu a não ter o ar condicionado ligado. Os corredores estavam sujos e você podia ouvir bebês chorando e outras pessoas de seus quartos. Como eles poderiam suportar a atmosfera está além de mim. Nós não poderíamos ficar lá e a recepcionista gentilmente reembolsou nosso dinheiro. Escusado será dizer .... se eu pudesse denunciar isso menos de um, eu definitivamente faria.
