“We booked for two nights and ended up staying a third night. Room was overlooking the harbour with a balcony. Very clean and well appointed. Spacious and the bathroom had an awesome walk in shower. Staff are very friendly and the bonus here are the delicious cookies. Breakfast was good along with coffee. It’s easy walking to the ferry and for 2$ you can be at the Halifax Wharf. We had lunch at the Canteen… get the lobster Crab roll!!Again walking distance. Highly recommend!”

“Not so happy with this hotel. Bathroom could have been cleaner and the rooms are not very spacious. We got a room with balcony to sleep with an open window, but had to close it as everybody was smoking on the other balconies. Did not had breakfast as you wither get a better deal with AAA or breakfast. (strange I think). We could not sleep the first night because of a party and fight going on two door down. The security had to come several times and still no improvement. Unfortunately, the doors bang very loud when they close and most people didn't know that they can use the handle. The clientele was quiet questionable. Another negative point I didn't know when I booked the room was that I had to pay $5 per night for parking. The only good thing was the location which was very convenient for us. I don't think I will come back.”
