Everything about this place missed. We checked in Sunday, it was apparent immediately that no one has any peep in their step. It’s insulating to tourists who are spending hard earned money to travel there. If you can’t greet guests with smiles don’t work in this industry. This goes more for the bar tenders and wait staff. They all lacked any interest in speed or pleasing guests. No smiles, in fact I saw on multiple occasional eye rolls when people would order a drink, or they would just flat out ignore you…even when being tipped. You have to ask 2-3 times for anything from pillows to towels, and god forbid you want water in your room mini fridge, or your room to be cleaned (with tip) no one there respects the industry. Needless to say, we called our booking company after 2 nights and were thankfully moved to the Mongrove and within minutes of arriving we felt like we had entered the four seasons. They even brought champagne to our room to apologize for the poor experience at the Dreams. (Yes that’s correct, our new hotel smiled, gifted us a bottle and apologized for something completely unrelated to them.) I have stayed at many Dreams in other places and this place does not hit the mark to carry this brand. I heard…they had a new GM and I’m hoping he can whip it into shape, but the moral of the story is he should begin by secret shopping his own staff at different bars, restaurants, etc and I can only assume he’d be very disappointed. We are now feeling extremely excited about the remainder of our stay, because after all this is a beautiful island.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was neat and clean. The view was incredible as it over looked the pool, bar, and ocean. Being members, Milagros took great care to make sure all our needs were met and that we had a great time. Rula who was in the preferred club treated us well with her pleasant and welcoming personality. Later during our stay we were able to meet with Irina and Donna. These two amazing women made sure being members we were taken care of in all aspects. We really appreciated the time they took with us. Lastly, I can't forget about the bartenders who made us the best drinks on the resort (Kingsley & Jordon). Oh and Sandy the Bellboy was always willing to help us. I want to say Thank all of you for making our anniversary vacation a trip we will always remember and will return. Thank you.

I got married at the resort and spent a week there and overall I had a great experience. The employees where warm and welcoming, and I really did enjoy our stay. A few things could have been better I wish they had both elevators were working we had long wait times getting to and from our room. Also it was very irritating having to ask for wash clothes daily.

This place has an intimate feel. The beach/sand area is quite small but there are quite a few chairs between here, the pool, and an extra lounging area. We always travel preferred, so those services were nice (make your own drinks, concierge, late check out, early check in, gift bag, etc). The food was slightly above average and there was a laid back feel...you didn't have to dress up for the steak dinner restaurant, for example. Overall, we had a blast!! We would definitely go back!

Stay someplace that appreciates your business. Paid for a preferred level suite, no preferred level amenities provided until we repeatedly requested them and then it was hit/miss. Housekeeping never replaced the toilet paper so we had to use tissues. No beach or pool bar service so had to stand in line 15-20 minutes for service. That got even longer when the only other bar on the property was closed down. And, most of the bar attendants were unfriendly and mostly ignored guests. One elevator was not working the entire time we were, one night the only working elevator broke with staff directing us to use the stairs to get to our rooms, including some woman claiming to be the hotel manager. Service from the Preferred Concierge meant being told to stand in line at the front desk to ask them to call a cab for us, then being referred to the bell stand. The food was mediocre at best and mostly overcooked. You're much better off staying at a different property. The only plus was that they have a nice beach.

It was just so so....but if gambling is your thing...so be it.....give your money away......much more fun in Curacao than spending your time in the casino. Vegas is so much more

The place was beautiful, staff was very helpful and was trying to provide the best service as possible. I think in 3 to 4 months this place will be better. Just opened Dec. 15 2019. New staff needs more training and the bars need to be set up better to accommodate the bartenders.

No Stars at all this isn’t star worthy very misleading!!! The rooms are horrible this was by far nothing close to being new . This place is a dump , soft opening is also a joke , they should have waited until they were fully prepared instead of the mediocre experience. The random cats and birds not to mention flies I can go on and on. Disgusting I would have opted to stay at the Marriott next door . The food there was great . The buffet here at the dreams I wouldn’t feed it too a random dog in the street . Horrible horrible experience

This resort as everything that would make you want to go home early from your vacation. Not sure where to start. 1st they gave us the wrong room, ran out of alcohol. Limes, mint, water bottles. You name it. They ran out. We went in town and bought our own mint and limes. No waitstaff anywhere in resort Around beach area. Common areas or pool area. 1 bartender each at the only 2 bars. Website says it has 4 restaurants. 2 are only open and with their understaffing problem, it took forever to get a meal. The buffet food was the same thing over and over and quality of food was below what we had expected. Could eAt there any more. Eat off site. Mold On ceiling tile in bathroom. Housekeeping was terrible. No room service first day, no clean towels after room was cleaned, it wasn’t good. Found a rolled cigarettes on my balcony from housekeeping smoking in our room while they were suppose to be cleaning it. Pool deck filthy. Never rinsed down or pool cleaned the entire week were there. The worse entertainment. That was a joke. Stay away to anyone who even thinks about this resort. One more thing. This building was built in 1965 and they barely did anything to renovate this old building. Very disappointed. Never stayed at a resort this bad nor will I ever again

Nice, quaint, small-med sized hotel. Was a relaxing visit overall, the staff is very pleasant and genuine. Open area breakfast is nice, but they need to set up bird feeders or something so that the breakfast area is not inundated with them. Lastly, they have a strange, irritating payment policy. I used my cc for them to hold for payment which included a deposit, nothing unusual there. But once I exceeded the deposited amount I had to pay the difference and put an additional deposit down to cover any potential charges I may incur. In the middle of my vacation no less. Essentially, I had to pay for the hotel upfront. Never encountered that at any Hilton, and I've been diamond for many years. Irritating to say the least. And smoking is pretty much allowed everywhere. Kinda defeats the purpose of getting away for fresh air and the beach. If not for that I'd give them 4- stars.
