Beautiful resort on absolutely beautiful grounds. The rooms have been renovated. The property has multiple pools and lots beautiful green space. The lobby bar has great sushi. The Rosewoods Asian restaurant was delicious. I woukd highly recommend this property. I especially liked the pools on the beach.

Amazing place, highly recommend. It's a gated community and is very safe compared to other Cancun hotels. Everyone including the staff are friendly and really willing to help solve your problems. Free SUP, free catemaran, free kayaking and boat tours. The boat tour was great and gives you an idea of how big this place really is. Feels like a dream and escape from reality.

Fantastic hotel. This should form part of the true definition of a 5 star hotel. The food was fantastic anywhere you go, and the avocado… what can I say… I would recommend to get the all inclusive package as the food is very expensive otherwise. Great rooms, staff and facilities. PD: Kudos to Jorge who took care of our group of 12 people for several days and every single on of us loved him.

I just spent an enjoyable week at the resort. While the renovations do hamper the beach experience, the majority of the hotel is fully functional and the upgrades are well done. The lobby bar for cocktails and sushi was my favorite (kids can order off the room service menu). Having said that, the food was solid everywhere. I only wish there were more on resort activities both day and evening.

We were fortunate to hold our wedding here in February 2022. This property is magical and everything about our wedding experience, planning and stay was incredible. The resort is beautiful and exclusive. But they want you in and out. I’ve never been denied access to all food and activities upon check out. Usually you can leave your backs and they’ll let you enjoy the activities the rest of the day. Not here. Once you check out you instantly have to pay for everything. Also, their all-inclusive isn’t really all-inclusive. You still have to pay for a lot of things. If you order service for example they charge a “delivery fee” for every item you order. They say it’s a flat fee and then when it’s delivered it ends up being way more. It felt like the staff just wanted us out by the end of the week, and mind you, my wife and I don’t drink and we’re not rowdy. It genuinely felt like poor service. I give it a one star because when you compare it to the dozens of other all-inclusive resorts in the area, many of which I’ve stayed, this is the last one I’d return to. Everyone has their idea of a good vacation and this spot might be someone’s cup of tea. But if you’re looking for a great all-inclusive, beautiful, on the beach resort, gorgeous spa, delicious food, all-inclusive activities… my recommendation would be go to Xcaret, not Fairmont Mayakoba.

Perfeito em tudo. Resort enorme. O único problema que achei foi q locomoção por conta do resort ser enorme. As vezes o carrinho de golf que levava para os locais dohotel demorava um pouco a chegar. Tirando isso foi tudo perfeito! Água da praia quentinha.

Un paraíso inolvidable, con ganas de regresar, el servicio A1, cada empleado te saluda con entusiasmo, siempre estan pendientes para proveer el mejor servicio. Los paisajes, el hotel como tal hermoso, la vista en cada rincón increíble, la habitación (casita) espectacularmente bella y cómoda El bar/restaurant en el lobby demasiado bueno, el sushi y las canoas de camote uff son otro nivel, los meseros muy cordiales nos recomendaron que tipos de sushi comer y el vino blanco que nos trajeron excelente calidad de hecho comimos y nos tomamos unos vinos ahi por 3 noches seguidas ya que el ambiente muy buena. Siguen los protocolos para prevención del covid de hecho en la habitación nos dejaron, guantes, mascarillas, sanitizer e inclusive repelente para los mosquitos El restaurante en la playa, la vista es un paraiso total porque comes a orilla de la playa, la comida a la carta deliciosa pero se tardaban mucho Lo único el telefono de la casita que estaba hospedada no tenia servicio, causándonos mucha espera y retraso para encontrarnos con el grupo que estabamos, nos tocaba obligatoriamente tomar los carritos ya que nuestra casita estaba muy lejos del lobby o los restaurantes por eso no nos íbamos caminando ya que era muy retirada de todo y hasta el dia antes de irnos fue arreglado el teléfono pero siempre habia alguien pendiente para reportar esto. El restaurante la laguna en el desayuno excelente, la cena terrible en este restaurante, nos dieron un pescado dañado (los 3 habíamos pedido el mismo plato porque el mesero lo habia recomendado como el mejor plato del restaurante) y ni siquiera el chef o nadie vino a disculparse Los que nos recibieron las maletas muy cordiales y puntuales Los que manejaban el carrito muy cordiales siempre con una sonrisa, buscaban tema de conversación y muy respetuosos Los del servicio de autobuses que nos recogieron y llevaron al aeropuerto excelente Los del tour muy buenos y explicaban muy bien la historia y cultura de Mexico, nos daban recomendaciones de que hacer y a donde ir en los parques El servicio del cuarto excelenteDe resto fueron unas muy merecidas vacaciones, con ganas de regresar pronto, quedamos enamorados de la cultura, comida, amenities del hotel, el servicio y las personas todo el staff del hotel de excelente calidad! Si buscas unas vacaciones 5 estrellas, de lujo y que te sientas en el paraiso, el hotel Fairmont Mayakoba es el ideal! 100% recomendado

¡Fantástico! Tuvimos un pequeño inconveniente con el ruido en las habitaciones por las obras que están realizando y porque viajamos con un bebé pero se esmeraron en solucionarlo de la mejor forma posible. Mención especial para el buen Guillermo, encargado de la zona de casitas y de paso decir que la reforma de las instalaciones está quedando fenomenal. En general el servicio del personal es estupendo poniendo toda clase de facilidades para que la estancia suponga un auténtico descanso para los huéspedes. Un hotel, como pocos, pensado para viajar en familia, en un entorno privilegiado. Lo mejor: - Las instalaciones: playa, piscina y restaurantes de primer nivel, suficientemente amplios como para poder estar cómodos aunque el hotel esté completo. - El servicio: personal atento, educado y bien preparado. Podría mencionar a Camilo en la zona de piscinas, Mónica en el bar de la playa, Carlos en el restaurante Tauro, Fernanda en recepción y mucho más personal que se esmeró en atendernos siempre con la mejor sonrisa pero sin resultar intenso. - El entorno. Mayakoba es un destino extraordinario: selva, playa, espacios amplios y una selección de hoteles de primera. No hace falta salir del complejo. - Familias. Un hotel preparado para familias con toda clase de detalles para los más pequeños. Lo peor: - La insonorización de las habitaciones - Que falte tiempo para poder disfrutar de estancias más largas...

This is a 5 star resort; The only complaint is that the resort rooms are laid out like apartment complexes and they are not marked well at night. We struggled for about 15 minutes to find our room on the first night.

This is a beautiful sprawling resort. We had our own Casita with a laguna view. We had the all inclusive package which provided really great food. Sometimes all-inclusive food can be bland but this was good and included 24-hr room service. I was surprised there was no live music or entertainment at night, but that's ok. Enjoy the serenity. Oh!! They offer a boat tour of the property, and it's a MUST!! It's truly enchanting to start your day with such a gorgeous ride. This was truly the highlight of my stay. Ask for Sergio he was so hospitable and fun to ride with. Def a nice stay.

A pesar de que se encuentra dentro del complejo Mayakoba, Fairmont ofrece una cálida estancia con su excelente servicio al cliente. Como todo en Mayakoba, la exclusividas que se ofrece es extraordinaria y cuenta con restaurantes de muy buena calidad así como en sus habitaciones tambien. Simplemente uno de los mejores lugares en Riviera Maya

If I could give 4.5 stars I could, but since it's not an option I will round up. I really enjoyed my visit here in June of 2021. The hotel workers are all very kind and the property itself is remarkable. The only problems we had were the saragassum (though I've heard that during the summer months seaweed is out of their control) and knowing were to go (construction was going on so the main way to go to the beach was closed off, making it difficult to get around the resort).

Set up for families great resort clean & good mosquito control, they are battling a major seaweed problem so the beach is less of an attraction but they are doing a good job. Kids club was AMAZING and my 2yo loved his babysitter/nanny Alejandra (we loved her). My 5yo found it fun & enjoyed activities with friends her age. We felt comfortable and immediately at ease❤️

My husband and I could not say enough about how wonderful our trip was this June. The property was stunning and very well kept. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to stay in room 907 along the beachfront and enjoy all the amenities that came with our inclusive package. Most notably was the excellent service and hospitality of the staff. Rodrigo Sosa, our butler, was always a step ahead in helping us navigate the resort. Thank you for a most enjoyable vacation. Thank you to all those that worked so hard to make this an enjoyable experience.

Had the chance to stay here for 4 days. What an awesome experience. The property was in the middle of a renovation but that didn't disrupt our experience at all. Service is the best you can find and there is good variety of activities, food and drinks. Special kudos and recognition to Antonio Salguero, Restaurant General Manager, who took care of us and got us into a tequila tasting on a boat tour that is 100% recommendable, and take this from a non-tequila fan. The spa is also awesome with great attention to your request and all the staff aim to make this a magical experience.

Passamos 7 noites nesse resort e não tenho absolutamente nada de negativo para falar. Tudo espetacularmente maravilhoso! Os funcionários são cordiais e muito atenciosos, sempre estão dispostos a ajudar os hóspedes. As acomodações são amplas e limpas diariamente. Os banheiros ficam impecáveis e eles trocam as toalhas e secam a banheira duas vezes por dia. O serviço all inclusive também é maravilhoso, são três restaurantes a la carte para as três principais refeições, fora isso tem serviço de piscina e praia. O hotel ainda empresta máscaras, bolas, baldinho de praia para as crianças, stand up paddle, caiaque e ainda tem um passeio de barco a vela e vc não precisa pagar nada a mais por isso. Pra quem não vive sem internet, saiba que o Wi-Fi é gratuito e funciona super bem até na praia. Esperamos voltar eu e minha família em breve. Obrigada por esses dias maravilhosos!!!!

I was celebrating my 32nd birthday along with my 5 year anniversary of being cancer free back in August so it was crucial that I select the appropriate place to stay during my celebration. I moved forward with Fairmont Mayakoba and it did not disappoint one bit. When their Manager Rafael T and our buter David L got wind of this they pulled out the white glove service and red carpet because they wanted to make this a memorable experience for me. I have to say, I've stayed at the Four Seasons and Rosewood before and thats where I usually go, but they blew me out of the way with their professionalism and creative surprises throughout my stay. You can tell these are the type of colleagues you'd want representing your company. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, sprinkle that with the amazing treatment and I've now become a new loyal member of the Fairmont family. If you want 5 star treatment with the utmost service, amazing rooms, delicious food, beautiful gorgeous property, I recommend you stay here. Don't even think, just book!

A very well manage resort and amazing staff. You are treated like royalties. Bikes are available for you to bike to the shore or the restaurant of you choice. Very clean and great attention to safety and health of the guests. You can take long walk or just sit by the ocean and enjoy the moon light/sunrise. The staff all are proficient in English and have a lot of good stories to tell you about the history of this resort. We didn't leave the resort and didn't feel we need to all we needed was available at the resort.

Seriously probably the best luxury resort in Mexico. We are here in July and every precaution is taken to ensure safety. Apart from all the luxury services, exquisite dining, complimentary beach resort activities like kayak, paddle board, catamaran, etc, it is very safe here. Temperature checks for every guest in the hotel every day. They are capping occupancy rate to ensure every guest room is serviced and attended to properly for maximum health and safety. Most activities and dining are pushed to the beach areas where it is safely distanced from each other, and the sun's rays and the beach setting can help ensure safe and healthy environment.Spa is currently by appointment only to ensure proper protocols and sanitizing. Best to get your massage at the beach tho! Super relaxing.Everything is done to the highest standards.I wouldn't trust any other establishment as much as I trust the Fairmont. We are absolutely safe here. I know it, I see it, I feel it.It is also very family friendly. I've stayed at the Ritz and they are not kid friendly at all. The Fairmont brand is probably the most family friendly brand while still adhering to high quality and standards and where couples can enjoy their luxury vacation without the usual ill behaved clientele other chains would suffer you through lol. Kids under 5 eat free and they have a clubhouse just for kids that give them tons of activities so you can go off and enjoy your adult time alone.If you are a big family, I recommend booking the private residences that have the 3 - 4 bedroom at the Fairmont Heritage Place site(plus nanny's room! not advertised in the details but ask for he units that have them as not all do). It is the best deal with a full kitchen with everything the family needs and their own very private club pools, and in unit dipping pools and tubs. It is gorgeous, spacious, and the best value and can accommodate 1-2 families in a unit. Have plenty of privacy away from everyone.I prefer the middle floor units, as you get the breeze on your terrace/outdoor patio, and you have the warm jetted tubs. The ground floor unit doesn't get a breeze, and the 4th floor penthouse is just way too much sun. Also, in the event that it rains (it does sometimes in the summer for short periods of time, tho also rarely) it is such a nice wonderful thing to sit in the warm tub protected from the rain in the middle floor units,and watch and listen to the rain while you sip a glass of wine, tea, or cocktail. The pool/tub in the ground floor and penthouses are all exposed .I actually had some rain one of the days we were there, and I kept hoping it would rain so I can sit in the warm tub with the jets on while I eat ice cream! Hahaha, it happened. It was awesome to enjoy.There are 2 large private pools also for exclusive use of only the guests staying in the residences. Very private.If you are planning on going on vacation, I absolutely recommend this is the safest and best place to go. Bar none.

Such a beautiful resort. The service is so friendly and attentive. We are here during Covid shutdown, so incredibly limited hours and services on everything. Once fully open, I’m sure it is spectacular. I’m giving the 5 star rating because the quality, service and accommodations are the best - and we can’t wait to return when everything is fully open.

El hotel está precioso, las instalaciones increíbles puedes andar en bicicleta, en kayak, hay un tour en lancha por el manglar sin costo adicional. La habitación es súper amplia y bonita, la cama muy cómoda. La atención ha sido muy buena por parte de todo el staff. Isabel en recepción fue súper amable a nuestra llegada!!! Gracias a Gabriela Castañeda por sorprender a nuestra hija con un delicioso pastel y Tarjeta de cumpleaños. Excelete servicio al cliente por parte de todos los que trabajan aquí. Las habitaciones son muy bonitas y cómodas un acuerto que te dejen spray anti-mosquitos. La comida es riquísima en cualquiera de los restaurantes que elijan. Nos tocó la celebración de Día de Muertos y fue una muy buena experiencia. Tienen actividades sin costo en la playa como volleyball, football, kayak, paddle, entre otras. Lo recomiendo 100%
