“I’ve read the comments from past visitors and although I saw some negative comments, I decided to be open minded when checking in to this place. Although the parking lot area may still need some refurbishing I was pleasantly impressed with the experience we had. The manager who checked us in was very courteous, informative and kind to upgrade our room (we didn’t ask for). The room is spacious, with nice and clean bathroom (good shower water pressure and temp), has all amenities including bottled water in the room, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, etc. Oh, it also came with a sofa-bed, too. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool in the middle of the building (Atrium), surrounded by hotel rooms (up to 3 levels) facing the pool, and has a restaurant / bar also by the Atrium. There’s also free coffee and water in the lobby area near the computers/business center. Good strategic location as well (not far from main intersection of Fort Riley Blvd) and we also found a nice trail nearby (Linear Trail) and had a really nice walk thru the woods and over a couple of creeks. Definitely enjoyed our weekend stay (we were attending our daughter’s best friend’s wedding).”

“The pictures for the hotel were misleading. The entire hotel smells if chlorine and mildew due to the centrally-located swimming pool. There were no towels for the pool both days our children swam. Our hotel room came with three towels for four people. The damp room was quite disgusting. There was no coffee available in the morning. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel. You'll be more comfortable elsewhere.”
