“Location and price were great but only giving it 4 stars due to the fact that the beds were really hard ( or I am used to my softer mattress) 😅. My back hurt the whole time we stayed here (typing this after our second night, and one more to go). I have the Hilton Honors App which helps to see your member points, check in without having to stop by the front desk, and have a digital key. We went straight yo our room the night we got here. That part is very convenient and time saving. Overall a good stay.”

“The positives of this hotel are its location and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was close to the event we were attending and also a very short drive to more entertainment and dining. I did not have much interaction with staff as we were mainly just there for food. The room was average upon entering and the bed was very comfortable. Outside of that, the room left much to be desired. First, the air conditioning could not keep up. It was uncomfortably warm in our room all night. This was not an unseasonably hot day. The high that day was 85 and the next day's high was 73. Secondly, the lamp shade had water stains on it and looked just gross. I am not certain why that would be there, but it did make me question the cleanliness of the rest of the room. Third, we discovered in the morning that the curtains in the room are a far cry from blackout curtains as it was full sun by 5:30 AM. Combined with the room temperature being 74 while set at 68 overnight, at least we didn't oversleep. Lastly, the pool area was the final bit that ensured I would never come here for a lengthy stay. The pool entrance is right in the middle of several smoking rooms. The whole area smelled so bad, I was nauseous just going to check out the pool. Unless you are a heavy smoker or enjoy the taste and smell of an ashtray, the pool is completely unusable. We didn't even venture over to check out the fitness area as it is nearby and the smell was really starting to get to me. Good luck and happy travels. If you are considering the Hilton Garden Inn Addison, I'd not recommend it. There are definitely cheaper options and this hotel is not offering anything to make the price difference worthwhile. I took photos of the lampshades at 6AM. There are no lights on in the room, that is the sun beating through the threadbare curtains providing the light.”
