“I am on a business trip and have stayed at many Hilton hotels in the last 2 weeks. As a Diamond member I exclusively stay at Hilton hotels and expect the hotels to be of high standards. After my last stay at a poor quality DoubleTree, it was refreshing to see the other end of the spectrum at this location. The entire building smelled clean upon entry, hallways were clean, room was spacious and very clean. The A/C is excellent and the room cooled down quickly. Almost all of the Homewood Suites I’ve stayed at have been good, but this one is of exceptional quality. I also like the free laundry. Makes a difference when you’re trying to work out some stains on your clothes. I highly recommend this location if you’re visiting this area. I find it better to pay a little more for comfort and a good nights sleep.”

“I purposely chose this very hotel because of the indoor pool and proximity to where we were going. The website said they were undergoing renovations until April 22. No big deal, we’re going May 7, weeks later. We arrive to check in on May 7, and guess what? The pool and hot tub are closed. We were not told this on the website, at any point during booking, via email, nothing. They kept this a complete secret until we drove hours and arrived on their doorstep. Oh wait, but we can use their “sister property’s” pool! The issue with this? You must book a one-hour time slot in advance, and only one room from the entire hotel could have any given time slot. Oh wait, but there’s more! Not only must you know well in advance which 60-minute window you’d like to swim, you cannot take more than 4 people. …..We’re a family of 6. After a LOT of back and forth, the “sister” hotel “allowed” our family to use the pool during very off peak hours. I’m talking 9am until 10am. How lucky we are after spending almost FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS on this hotel for the sole purpose of their pool. Other wonderful things about the hotel: -They put a family with four children on the fourth floor, and then had the nerve to call us and tell us to be quiet at 8:45am because the room below us was “trying to sleep” and they “heard stomping.” I have a two year old with autism, I can’t control how he walks at 8:45am? -The breakfast was awful. I have celiac disease and literally my only option was rice Chex. Even their half frozen sausage had wheat in it. My family does not have dietary restrictions and they thought it was awful, too. -they KNEW we had a family of 6 coming and therefore would need the pullout mattress. We had to go downstairs twice for blankets and pillows for it. They refused to bring anything up. -The room was borderline clean. The shower was gross. -They had ONE tiny skillet/pot thing for the stove. That’s it for cookware. Our entire plan for saving money by cooking at the hotel was out the window unless we wanted to go purchase new pots and pans. -For all our trouble and hundreds of dollars, we were offered “points.” Seriously? We grudgingly accepted their points and shockingly, they never came! We will never stay here again.”
