Great locale with tip top facilities and very clean rooms. A million pools to swim in and great fun for kids. Some customer service processes need fixed (e.g. bell hop backups), food could be better and expect heavy crowds, however, all of this is to be expected at a place like this. Beware or the ATM in the lobby, if you do not normally bank in Euro and they offer to convert your currency the rate and fees they provide are nothing less than predatory. Do not chose the default option at the end choose the left button. 32 dollars extra charges on a 200 euro withdrawal for me.

This hotel failed to update their website, respond to emails notifying us, but still charged our credit card for the stay when they closed for the season. We flew into Mallorca on Thurs 13 Aug 2020. The room had been reserved for more than 3 weeks prior. We sent an email the day prior to arrival notifying the hotel we had a late flight and had to get rental so we would be in around 11pm. No response. We arrived to an abandoned resort, no signs, no people, nothing. We use google to contact the hotel and get an answering machine stating their closed. A family of 4, with two small children standing on their front steps at 2345 with no where to stay. Luckily we started cold calling other hotels and found somewhere to stay. I am shocked that a company of this size could lack such basic customer service and common decency to atleast CANCEL ROOM BOOKINGS AND NOTIFYING GUESTS THEY ARE CLOSING. Glad we used a reputable credit card to book, as they refunded us quickly. On Thursday from their website the hotel was still booking rooms for this exact location even though they are CLOSED. Horrible service, will NEVER stay here.

Apartamento amplio y limpio y con buena vista al mar aunque alejado de la parte principal del hotel, suerte que nos acompañaron con las maletas en un cochecito. Personal muy amable. Piscinas para niños de 10, a parte que tiene más piscinas por todo el hotel, por lo que no estaban masificadas. De 3 hoteles que hemos estado este es el que tenía las mejores normas para covid en el comedor, todo con mamparas, obligatorio ponerse gel y mascarilla en la zona de comida cada vez que entrabas y te iban sirviendo los cocineros el buffet y bebidas por tanto nadie tocaba nada solo el personal del hotel, nosotros no tuvimos que hacer colas para comidas. Por tanto para nosotros fue perfecto. Menos en el espectáculo podías mantener distancia de seguridad, eso si, la gente mucha no usaba la mascarilla. Estuvimos muy bien la verdad. Y la playa al lado justo, una playa casi en exclusiva para gente del hotel.

Great hotel for family mainly! Good food, good rooms+cleaning, nice staff service, 7 nice pools for all + great aqua park & games for kids, varying animation/shows every evening, ices/hot dogs/drinks/chips/drinks daytime and some nice free activities (diving apprentice, arrows). Staff respected covid measures well whole time. Car hire mandatory to cover all these nice beaches and lovely creeks. Minor improvement for staff to understand English otherwise difficult. Overall great stay and lovely moments of swimming and boating. We'll come back surely!:)

We were redirected to this hotel because our actual hotel was not yet opened. From the beginning, the impression of the hotel was much lower than our expectations. The first offered room was very dirty, with yellow pillows and a mold. Thereby we asked to change the room and the second room was cleaner, but still, the cracked walls, the damaged floor, the old not fully closing entrance door, the not fully functioning AC, and missing toiletries made our stay not comfortable in Iberostar Club Cala Barca hotel. Perhaps, we were not lucky enough to get the renovated room. Also, we paid for the room with a sea view but did not get it. That is why, for people that appreciate comfort and cleanliness, we do not recommend it. Pros: great personal, best entertainment and animation program we have ever seen, and good food (but also not great, I wish there were more vegetables). Cons: old facilities, almost all walls are with cracks, old dirty rooms, too expensive for the offered price. There is a beach near the hotel, but it is stony and very dirty.

The location and surroundings of Club Cala Barca are great. It's spacious, great views, right on the coast. A small breach is close by. Make sure to bring shoes to go into the water because of the rocks in the water. The food and drinks are good for a four star all inclusive. The COVID 19 measures are a bit of a challenge for many people. The most annoying thing is the gardening staff that start sometimes before 7am with their motorized equipment... Not the time to wake up on vacation.

Piscinas fantásticas. Personal amable. Comida buena. Aire acondicionado escaso, tarda todo un día en refrescar la habitación. Lo peor el acceso al comedor. Colas fuera, colas dentro. No es normal esperar para entrar al comedor 30 minutos y luego para que te sirvan la comida 10 minutos y 5 minutos para la bebida. Es decir, 45 minutos para comenzar a comer. Pienso q este sistema COVID no funciona. Tendrán que pensar en otro modo.

La comida es muy buena, hay poca variedad pero de una calidad espectacular. El personal muy amable y limpieza en instalaciones comunes y habitaciones. Entorno tranquilo y calas cercanas de ensueño.

Hasta que no “abran” de verdad no vale la pena. De todos los restaurantes que ofrecen y después de confirmar en recepción que estaban todos abiertos menos uno (el Beach house) realmente solo está abierto el restaurante Baleares. La piscina infantil cerrada por obras durante nuestra estancia. Si venimos, es por los niños. Todo a medias. Si el hotel está todavía en fase de apertura tendrían que informar de ello en la página y con unas tarifas diferentes. No volveremos. Lo único perfecto el trato del personal

Hotel muito bom inserido numa reserva natural com excelentes instalações e o staff muito simpático. A praiajunto ao hotel é bonita mas não para fazer praia para além da ausência de areia tem um tubo de saneamento pela praia fora que durante a noite ou de manhã cedo faz-se sentir um cheiro nauseabundo. Para colmatar esse ponto negativo ao meu ver tem 3 praias paradisíacas,uma pequenina e com o mesmo problema de escassez de areia e as outras 2 sim vale apena usufruir daquelas maravilhas ,sao 10 minutos a pé pelo pinhal mas é muito compensador.As piscinas do hotel sãoexcelentes e bem vigiadas, mas tem de ir cedo arranjar espreguiçadeiras porque começam logo cedo a serem ocupadas. Este hotel tem uma animação excelente para todas as idades e o serviço de restauração fantástica tem é de ir cedo porque os horários estão ajustados para os turistas nórdicos. No geral recomendo para umas férias em família.

Um resort excelente. Óptimo para famílias com crianças pequenas. Sitiado numa zona calma. Ao pé tem uma cidade pitoresca Cala D'Or onde existe animação nocturna. Contudo o resort também tem animação nocturna com vários espectáculos. O resort tem espalhado por várias zonas piscinas, espaços para comer bem como piscinas para crianças pequenas.

Food great, varierty and quality very good. Views picturesque set in great location. Staff friendly and helpful speaks numerous languages.Several pools and also on the beach. Plenty to do like scuba diving try outs and archery, aqua aerobics.

Amazing resort with fabulous friendly staff! Went with my two boys aged 8 & 6 and husband. Plenty to do on the resort and a couple of beaches within 2-20 Mon walk away including the national park. Food was brilliant with most evenings having a different theme. Top tip if you want a table for the outdoors evening show you need to be there by 7:30. We love it so much we have been three years running!

We spent a week in 2018 August at Cala Barca. The hotel is located at a very beautiful coast. We had some jellyfishes in the water, but we were careful during snorkeling. It is very interesting...

Nice hotel and staff, very good quality of the food in all the restaurants. A lot of pools and great entertainment. Natural park of Mondrago in a walking distance. Rooms very clean and well manteined.
