“Massive seaview suites spread over 2 stories. The large downstairs has a living room with two couches, a coffee table and a very large desk and chair, bathroom, storage and a large closet. The large upstairs has a spare bedroom, a master bedroom and a second bathroom.The hotel is in a perfect location right in the water in the midst of everything the waterfront has to offer and the historical old town is just steps away. WOW!Some quibbles, reception was distracted during check in, answering the phone. Then basically just handing out the key and room number when finished on the phone. Perhaps, very Italian, but unexpected and abrupt, especially considering we're staying in one their top suites for multiple nights.Also very strange, we have a seaview suite with fantastic windows but four are soaped out from the outside so you can't see through and then two more have a huge sticker that fills exactly where you look when you are trying to look out. The giant stickers are kind of see through but you can only vaguely see shapes and colors and can't really even tell what you are looking at. One of the remaining windows is either half soaped from the outside or just very dirty. So out of a dozen or so windows we have three that you can use and see out.The view is beautiful, too bad we can't see more of it. Yes, some of the windows open fully fortunately, but others only partially.Breakfast was superb! Lots of seating indoors and out, with great views of the marina. Lots of variety and local selections. As an example, 5-6 different focaccia breads and 7-8 different types of croissants, not to mention fruits, breads, cheeses, eggs, meats, more. Also many different types of juices and water. Mint water for example, and water with orange in it. Lots of variety for coffee and tea too, a delicious licorice loose leaf tea as an example.Parking is very easy, indoors.To the hotel: thank you for your response. We do indeed look forward to returning to this hotel and to Genoa. Such a beautiful city, and your location is so perfect.”
