My greatest delight is leaving a 5 star review, and the Palazzo Baroccu hotel was excellent. The hotel is located near the Rialto shops and in close proximity to museums. The hotel upgraded my room at no charge. I highly recommend the breakfast which was a feast of fruits, desserts, eggs by request, sandwiches, cereals, coffees and Prosecco.

I stayed in a standard 2x single bed room. Room a little small but overall experience is ok. Shower drainage is slow, hence flooded the shower area a few times. Overall ok. Service was great, friendly and breakfast is good too!

The hotel is convenient to the ferry. The staff are polite and the hotel is clean. However the Superior rooms in the pictures show the canal in the window. The rooms DO NOT have a canal view, they are on an alley and are VERY small. Do not suggest that you stay in a ground floor room though all Superior rooms may be the same - as the sounds from the other room and from outside are disturbing. Suggest you call when making a reservation and do not just book on line to make sure you get a room that meets your expectations of Venice.

Review of Palazzo Barocci – Stay 2nd till 5th October. Husband and I stayed here 2nd October till 5th October, found it a pleasant hotel in a fabulous location, we arrived and were checked in by a lovely friendly receptionist. She arranged a complimentary glass of prosecco for both husband and I and gave us thorough information on where to go to get good views and nice places to visit. Was definitely a good entrance and start to our holiday. Room itself was lovely, came with its own balcony with a nice view of the canal. Loved it was right on a waterbus stop so we could come and go without much of a walk to the bus. Only major problem that I found with the room was the mosquitos, husband and I are convinced the room had an infestation of them, I unfortunately didn’t get a lick of sleep the 3 nights I was there due to the noise they made and them landing on us so often, husband and I were covered in bites when we left. The room was top floor with wooden beams so wonder if there were nests of them in there? I ended up poorly on night 3 due to dehydration I’m sure, but the lack of sleep can’t have helped. One other issue, is I think the main bedroom needed a mirror for getting ready in the morning, the only ones being in the bathroom which led me to plugging in an electronic item right next to the sink which felt a bit dodge. Those two issues aside, the hotel itself is nice, the staff were friendly and there was a fabulous bar attached the hotel which was quite affordable actually. A key memory was the wine I had in the hotel garden, that was a lovely memory of the holiday. Giving a 4, had I slept and not been mauled by mosquitos It would’ve been a 5.

“Are we staying in a storage locker?” -my girlfriend noticing our room was taller than it’s wide. The “superior” level rooms at $300 a night were TINY.We did not enjoy our stay here and can’t recommend it. The amenities listed on the booking website (fitness facility, laundry room, porter, a rooftop available for drinks) simply do not exist and we felt duped.Our shower drain was clogged upon checkin and a weird goo on the nightstand persisted our entire stay.It’s a super touristy location (maybe perfect for one or two nights…but not for more), a claustrophobic feeling lobby and elevator, and has some strange quirks (missing toilet seat and broken sink in the hotel’s ground floor, a perpetual “wet floor” sign in the lobby for our entire stay despite the floor never being wet)…just not a great experience.The hotel also failed to deliver a birthday gift that a friend had so kindly pre-arranged with them.And they rudely chased us out the front door demanding we pay more money upon leaving, which caused us to miss our boat to the airport rather than just sending us an invoice or billing our card.Wouldn’t return again.

The hotel staff were amazing! They were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay special. We were upgraded to an apartment with our own rooftop terrace which was absolutely beautiful. Hotel location was fantastic. Would definitely recommend

Avoid.The location was basically the only thing going for this hotel. Horrible experience and I will not be staying there again.Unless you find some crazy deal and are ok with mosquitoes. I'd urge you to find another hotel.The rooms are not clean and more than that the hotel has a mosquito problem(Probably all of Venice but it shouldn't be so bad inside a decent hotel).We had issues with the ac which couldn't be used for some local law which was fine but there is no fan only heat(unlucky unit?).So you are left with opening the window and having more bugs.They got us another room at 4am only after we called 5 times to figure out the ac/heat situation. Barely any sleep our last day in Venice ruined. We wanted to try to salvage a few hours of our day and asked if they could comp a taxi but nope, couldn't do it.I know a hotel cant control everything but it was disappointing the lack of customer service.It was actually the worst experience I've every had traveling which is saying a lot.Even hostels I've stayed at were in better shape and had better customer experience. Wife has photos and will be posting her review on trip advisor.

Hotel reformado minimalista. Ubicación sensacional cerca de Rialto(200metros) y con embarcadero propio y parada de vaporetto a diez metros(a 15' de San Marcos). Hall muy simple, personal amable. No tiene restaurante pero es posible tomar algunos platos sencillos y desayunar. Habitaciones 251 y 252 con "vistas" a las máquinas externas de aire acondicionado. Preferibles las que tienen vistas al canal o al jardín. Exceso de palomas a todas horas aunque en ocasiones llevan un halcón para auyentarlas. Con la habitación adecuada merece la pena

Fuimos de Luna de Miel, nos sorprendieron con vino espumoso y chocolates, la habitación estaba impecable, el desayuno muy completo y rico, pero lo mejor fue la vista al Gran Canal desde nuestra habitación!!

Céntrico, vas a todos lados a pie. Muybien decorado, la habitación (Suite + Balcón + Vistas) una pasada... quizás le faltaría tener una terraza en la fachada como una su vecino. Muy recomendable.

El hotel está construido en un viejo Palacio de Venecia. Tiene una ubicación muy conveniente, a pocos metros de una parada de vaporeto y con habitaciones que dan al gran canal. Además tiene algunos restaurantes y lugares de interés cerca. La atención es muy buena. El desayuno abundante y variado. Es un poco caro, pero todos los alojamientos en Venecia lo son
