“The hotel was reasonably priced and though it is older and had some maintenance issues, it was very comfortable. The staff was helpful and when we made requests about those maintenance issues, they responded well. Pandemic restrictions (no cleaning, having to get your own towels and toilet paper, etc) are inconvenient, but I assume they are the norm now. t I have only one real complain: its their weekend "grab bag breakfast" rules. Get this, you can't get your grab bag breakfast on Saturday or Sunday before 8 a.m. The bags are all made up. (I know because I walked down the hall and saw them sitting on a table) But because I was asking for one at 7:30 a.m. I couldn't have one! I told them that I knew they were available. The staff responded that it was a rule that they could not put them out. So the guest that has an 8 a.m. meeting or needs to leave early is just out of luck. Can't help but think this rigid rule is a misunderstanding and the intransigence of the staff on the subect is not in the best interest of the hotel chain.”
