O hotel mais impressionante que já fiquei! Eu amo o quarto e as comodidades. Eu fico no 8º andar com vista para o rio. Isso é incrível! Eu adoraria voltar .. Eu realmente sinto falta do hotel .. ❤️Eu fico no Fairmont Gold, adoro café da manhã e canapés - é tão gostoso e é um buffet.

The most impressive hotel that I have ever stayed! I love the room and amenities. I stay on the 8th floor with river view. That’s all amazing! I would love to go back again.. I really miss the hotel.. ❤️I stay in Fairmont gold, I love breakfast and canapé- it’s so tasty and it’s a buffet.

My husband and I selected the King Edward room for our wedding night this past August. Having stayed at The Fairmont in Calgary and Banff, I knew we had to pick a gold room for the most comfort. The King Edward room all said and done came in just under $1,000 for one night. In the description of the room it says city view, which is what we were interested in. We also selected this room because it’s larger with two levels. Also in the description it says it’s on the top level of the hotel. The room was large but with one very small window, it had a feeling like the room may have previously been a broom closet or transitional space previously which was later converted to a suite. We enjoyed wandering the halls of the hotel, taking in the history through all the photos and decor. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace in the morning, complimentary, due to Gold floor amenities being closed due to the pandemic.In retrospect, we would have spent more time researching the room we selected. We were very underwhelmed. No bathtub, one tiny window, cold ambience and a price tag that just seemed very excessive for the sake of being excessive.We wanted something special for our wedding night and the Hotel McDonald seemed like the obvious choice. In many ways it was special. I just think Fairmont has a lot of work to do to actually live up to the reputation it has created, now in the 21st century, to create ongoing memorable and next level experiences for all its guests regardless if they are booking a standard Fairmont room or opting for Gold level and so on.

Hotel era limpo, seguro e protegido. A equipe foi incrivelmente gentil, atenciosa, prestativa e agradável! Você poderia dizer que a equipe aprecia o trabalho e ama o que faz, pois eles realmente vão além para seus clientes, ou seja, os croissants não estão no menu de café da manhã, mas o que o chef faz ... Coza croissants para mim! Desde ajudar com a bagagem, upgrade de quarto de cortesia, entrega de comida no quarto e me ajudar a comprar produtos de banho para minha esposa. Este hotel está no ponto com o atendimento ao cliente, o que o torna a assinatura e o único lugar que se deve ficar quando em Edmonton! Ps sempre pegue os quartos voltados para o Riverside, pois é muito mais silencioso do que os quartos com vista para a cidade. Obrigado a todos por uma ótima estadia, eu voltarei!

Hotel was clean, safe and secure. Staff were unbelievably kind, considerate, helpful and pleasant! You could tell the staff appreciate work and love what they do, as they really do go above and beyond for their customers, ie croissants aren’t on the breakfast menu, but what does the chef do …. Bakes me croissants! From helping with luggage, complimentary room upgrade, delivery of food to the room, and helping me buy bath products for my wife. This hotel is on point with customer service, which makes it the signature and only place one should stay when in Edmonton! Ps always get the Riverside facing rooms as it’s much quieter than the city view rooms. Thanks everyone for a great stay, I’ll be back!

A castle in the prairies. This iconic land mark sits on the Edmonton river valley allowing guests to have access to an abundance of cultural and physical activities. One can stroll the river valley, play golf or swim laps at the kinsmen field house. Not into physical activities check out the Muttart Conservatory or take in a play at the Citadel Theatre. For those who don’t want to venture off the property sit on the outdoor patio and enjoy the river view. Accessibility and charm is what the Hotel Macdonald has to offer its guests. Warm friendly staff. Hats off to the gold floor staff. Your authentic personalities and charm were spectacular.

Este hotel tem caráter. E considerando que existe desde 1920, acho que está muito bem conservado. Minha esposa e eu adorávamos olhar todas as fotografias históricas ao longo do porão. Os coquetéis servidos no lounge também são deliciosos - minha mãe, que não bebe, gostou muito do mojito virgem. O chá da tarde foi uma experiência e tanto - o Earl Grey e o Ontario Ice Wine Tea foram divinos. Nossa estadia foi excepcional pelo excelente e amigável serviço que recebemos de Michelle, Michele e Zack.

Experiência tremenda neste hotel no fim de semana. Para começar com o pessoal é excelente e profissional. Os quartos são lindos e as camas / travesseiros são os mais confortáveis em que já dormi, eu trocaria facilmente meu colchão por aquele em que dormi. O salão da confederação serve comida deliciosa, o serviço é um pouco lento, mas as refeições e bebidas vale a pena esperar. Nossa única reclamação é nos dois quartos que tínhamos, a arrumação esqueceu um dos edredons para uma das camas e parecia pensar que estávamos brincando com eles, mas isso é uma coisa hilária que aconteceu. Você realmente recebe o que paga aqui.

O próprio hotel é muito bom. A comida é boa, um pouco cara. Não tente fazer o check-in antecipado para os quartos mais caros. Só posso fazer o check-in às 15h para a minha estadia em um desses quartos. Mesmo que pedíssemos várias vezes pela nossa noite de núpcias. A equipe da recepção é meio a meio, alguns bons outros não mostram nenhuma compaixão em tudo. Qualquer outra equipe é muito boa.

El hotel en sí es muy bonito. La comida es buena, un poco cara. No intente registrarse temprano para las habitaciones más caras. Solo pude registrarme a las 3 pm para mi estadía en una de esas habitaciones. Incluso si preguntamos varias veces por nuestra noche de bodas. El personal de recepción es mitad y mitad, algunos buenos otros no muestran compasión en absoluto. El resto del personal es muy bueno.

Tremenda experiencia en este hotel durante el fin de semana. Para empezar, el personal es excelente y profesional. Las habitaciones son hermosas y las camas / almohadas son las más cómodas en las que he dormido, cambiaría fácilmente mi colchón por el que dormí. El salón de la confederación sirve comida deliciosa, el servicio es un poco lento pero las comidas y las bebidas bien vale la pena esperar. Nuestra única queja es en las dos habitaciones que teníamos, el servicio de limpieza se olvidó de uno de los edredones para una de las camas y parecía pensar que estábamos jugando con ellos, pero eso es algo muy gracioso. Realmente obtienes lo que pagas aquí.

This hotel has character. And considering it's been around since the 1920s, I think that it's been very well maintained. My wife and I loved looking at all the historic photographs along basement. The cocktails served at the lounge are also delicious - my mom who's not a drinker, enjoyed the virgin mojito very much. High tea was quite a experience - the Earl Grey and Ontario Ice Wine Tea were divine. Our stay was made exceptional by the great and friendly service we received from Michelle, Michele and Zack.

Tremendous experience at this hotel over the weekend. To start off with the staff is excellent and professional. The rooms are beautiful and the beds/pillows are the most comfortable I've ever slept in, I would easily trade my mattress for the one I slept in. The confederation lounge serves delicious food, service is a touch slow but the meals and drinks are well worth the wait. Our only complaint is in the two rooms we had, housekeeping forgot one of the comforters for one of the beds and seemed to think we were messing with them but that's a hilarious thing to happen. You really do get what you pay for here.

Hotel itself is very nice. Food is good, a bit pricey. Don't try to get early check in for the more expensive rooms. Only able to check in at 3pm for my stay in one of those rooms. Even if we asked multiple times for our wedding night. Front desk staff is half and half, some good others show no compassion at all. Every other staff is very good.
