“This is an amazing and historical hotel. It has a very old Berkshire feel to it, harking back to a simpler time. I've stayed here many times with my family and we've enjoyed each visit. The restaurant is terrific as well. The Brussel sprouts are the best I've ever had and the turkey sandwich is like Thanksgiving to go. The lobby is great with its large fireplace and cage elevator. There's a game room off to the side and a fantastic, quaint bar as well.”

“So much history! The fact that I was able to walk down a beautiful small town street and then sit on the porch of such an old place (1773) blew me away. There doesn't seem to be many places in America left like this.I love all things historic. They have plenty of wicker chairs and sofas for you to just sit and take a break. We certainly did! There is also a small gift shop to walk around in and while doing that you can wander a bit in some of the main rooms on the first floor. We did not eat or stay here, just admired.”
