“This is hands down the best hotel you can stay at, not just in Kazakhstan, but in whole Central Asia. And I say that not just because of the great location right on the bank of the Ishim river (views!), but because the service is extraordinary. Worth visiting not just in summer, but for a winter staycation as well. Excellent spa, two great restaurants (Sunday brunch is a must), and for breakfast they know what you'd like to have before you even reach your table :) A special thank you to the butlers taking care of our needs at any time - Tatyana, Svetlana, Kayes, Zhar, among others, as well as to Aida, Azhar, Nurbolat - I could go on and on because the personnel is what makes the St Regis Astana stand out from everything else I have experienced to date.
