Very pretty resort however not 5 star in any stretch. Firstly it is advertised as adults only. This is not true. They even have kids programs. Wifi is very spotty and we had to get new door keys almost every day. They advertised several restaurants but very hard to get reservations as only 1 specialty open per day.. top shelf booze was an extra cost as well. Buffet nice but same food everyday.

Though not a 5-star hotel in European standards, this hotel offers a relaxing vacation and very good food, has very helpful and friendly staff and is situated on top of 2 beaches. Definitely the place to pick if you plan your vacation in Samana. The town itself has nothing of interest, but the surroundings are beautiful.

So many reasons to go here. The staff are super friendly, the entertainment staff (especially Yefry!) are full of energy. The food is also fantastic compared to other resorts. 10/10

Very beautiful and fun place, the entertainment was in point and the mountain view were incredible. Would 100% like to come back here in the future. The service is also excellent and make your vacation a whole lot relaxer.

Our stay at the Grand Bahai Principe Cayacoa was fabulous! This is a great resort for couples for sure!! Would come again! The staff are excellent! Only chirp is the house keeping.. sometimes they completed the cleaning, sometimes they did not complete cleaning. Overall excellent!

This is our second time visiting the Bahia Cayacoa and there’s a reason we came back! The staff are so friendly, the food is good, the a la cartes have all been delicious. The beach is busy this November, but still lovely. We’ve not had any problems with our room and I would recommend it to anyone. The stairs ensure you get your exercise in which is great for the amount of food you’re eating. We would come back again!

I took a trip here in 2015. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The staff were great, the service was always wonderful. The area was gorgeous, we got an ocean view and it was totally worth the extra few bucks! If you are planning a trip to Dominican Republic, I wouldn't go to ANY other town or city, I will stick to Samana from now on. The town is a very Christian town, they do NOT screw around with criminals, if you commit any criminal acts here, you might as well bury your own grave. I felt safe walking around at night or during the day, it is an absolutely beautiful place to relax. I highly-highly recommend booking a vacation at this hotel and in this town. It's even better during whale season when the whales are mating and have their babies in the bay, you can go whale watching during this time and I hear it's absolutely thrilling!

Resort is nice. Needs a little upgrading to give it 5stars. Check in was a breeze. Rooms (Villas) are spacious with most having ocean views. Recommend top floors for added privacy on the deck. A la carte selection is good. Mediterranean was great. Surf and turf yum. Snorkeling is not that good on the beach by the snack shack. Water is murky. But it was fun anyway. Have not tried the main Beach yet. Looks nice though 😀 weather is nice. Rain once in awhile.

Had a fantastic trip in August with my family. The pool and the beach were amazing. Pleasantly surprised with the food options at the main buffet and a la cartes. Wish there was a restaurant near the beach to avoid hauling kids and personal belongings up an elevator to grab lunch. Also wish the beach was more private however had no issues with the locals. Evenings shows were good. Overall awesome trip.

My stay was amazing! The food was great, everything was CLEAN! The pool and beach is beautiful. The front desk was always attentive to our needs. The entertainment was the best out of all! Nadiuska was the best entertainer out of them all. She went out of her way to engage everyone, and most of all she was caring and hilarious. She really made our Trip memorable.

Been to this resort 3 times in one year! It is that good! Food, entertainment... the whole environment is amazing! Carlos in the buffet, Rosa in the lobby, Daniel at the Front Desk, Eduardo, Nicki Jasmine and Lewis on the Entertainment staff are best in class! Never been to a cleaner place. Perfect for fun or relaxation! I am a single female traveler and feel at home almost like part of the family. Can’t wait to come back
