“The crew is really empathic & friendly, the hotel is clean and the rooms as well. The ratio price service is overall good and the city center situation of the hotel is excellent. Be careful with the hotel parking because you can not access to it with a SUV, only normal cars.”

“The room was big, clean and with everything that you need - even a smart TV with few international channels. We even asked for extra pillows and we got them immediately. The king-size bed was perfect and the room was quiet, you could not hear anything from the hall (like often happens in hotels). The breakfast was totally corona-proof and with different options: even vegan or gluten free. There was a nice lady that was there for you in case you needed anything. The staff in general was extremely nice and friendly. We had the superior room so I can not tell you if the standard room is of the same quality but all in all it is a good quality hotel for a stay in Mechelen. In the previous reviews I read a lot about the hotel being "old" but I would rather say it has a special atmosphere and warmth and I am sure you would not regret it. Once in Mechelen: visit the brewery Het Anker (Gouden Carolus beers) - they have an amazing tour guide and a brasserie as well where you can have extremely good food!”
