Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff! The suites are spacious and beautifully designed. Loved the large shower and soaking tub. Will definitely stay there again the next time I’m in Houston.

Service in the restaurant! Stephen Moneyhan was exceptional. He hand crafted specialty cocktails that were not on the menu just for us. The layers of complexity were insanely exciting. His attention to our table was appreciated. What an artist of cocktails and service. Andrea and I thank you!

Lindo quarto, lindo e banheiro espaçoso em dueto com piso plano aberto. A banheira era tão convidativa que este não tomador de banhos teve que tomar um banho de espuma antes de dançar ao redor do amplo chuveiro aberto. Eu quase esqueci que tinha que fazer outra coisa na minha vida e percebi que estava lá há mais de 2 horas. A equipe foi tão amigável e ansiosa para ajudar em qualquer tarefa e sem a menor resistência. O pessoal deste local tem uma grande atitude em relação ao serviço e assistência. Isso só me leva a acreditar que a administração possui um nível excepcional de valorização e respeito por seus funcionários. O quanto uma empresa valoriza sua equipe mede seu sucesso no cumprimento de sua missão e excelência. Não se esqueça que a qualidade do serviço que você oferece aos seus clientes é um mero reflexo do valor que você dá ao seu pessoal.

The management at this hotel care nothing for their guests and care nothing about any concerns you bring to their attention. My car was damaged in their valet and I spoke with GM Chris. He was extremely rude and dismissive of my issue and did not want to talk to me about it. This man’s patience is far too easily exhausted for someone that works with the public. Beware when you stay here because they will sacrifice their integrity to save a few dollars

Centrally located in the downtown area. Convenient to the theater district and the ballparks. Good eating conveniently located within a several block area. The trolley runs right outside with a stop at the front door.

Beautiful room, gorgeous and duet spacious bathroom with open floor plan. The bathtub was so inviting that this non bath taker had to bubble bath before dancing around the wide open shower. I almost forgot I had to to anything else with my life and realized I had been in there over 2 hours. The staff was so friendly and eager to help with any task and without the least amount of resistance. This locations staff has a great attitude towards service and assistance. That only leads me to believe that the management has an outstanding level of appreciation and respect for it's employees. How much a company values it's staff measures their success in carrying out their mission and excellence. Don't forget the quality of service you provide to the your customers is a mere reflection of the value you place in your people.

Nossa estadia foi boa. Tivemos uma pequena situação de banheiro que foi resolvida imediatamente e fez a nossa noite de estadia melhor. O motivo para as duas estrelas foi, na verdade, no final da nossa estadia. Sherry no posto de manobrista foi incrivelmente rude !! Ficamos do lado de fora por cerca de 40 minutos e não vimos nosso carro. Ela nunca nos disse se uma situação estava acontecendo. Era uma família de 5 pessoas com 3 crianças do lado de fora. Quando finalmente perguntei a ela sobre isso, ela encolheu os ombros e voltou a contar os recibos. A experiência com ela foi definitivamente desagradável e diferente das pessoas agradáveis dentro do hotel. Talvez ela estivesse com calor lá fora ... quem sabe? Mas sua atitude deixou um gosto ruim em nossas bocas.

Our stay was good. We had a little bathroom situation that was resolved immediately and made our night stay better. The reason for the two stars was actually at the end of our stay. Sherry at the valet station was incredibly rude!! We stood outside for about 40 minutes and we did not see our car. She never once told us if a situation was happening. It was a family of 5 with 3 kids standing outside. When I finally asked her about it, she shrugged her shoulders and went back to counting receipts. The experience with her was definitely unpleasant and different from the pleasant people on the inside of the hotel. Maybe she was hot outside..who knows? But her attitude left a bad taste in our mouths.

Parking valet was a bit of hassle, no nice breezeway to leave luxury cars in the front but Love the room very classy. Just make sure you don’t get a room facing the inside of all buildings, terrible view of abandoned building next door. Other than that love the shower gets super hotter than usual!! Would def be coming back!

My husband and I were traveling through Houston on our way to Belize for our honeymoon and we unfortunately missed our connection. United put us up in a hotel that was pretty terrible- main and bathroom door didn’t close, questionable bed bugs, lights didn’t work. So we made our way downtown to the JW Marriott. Best decision ever. The staff checking us in was AMAZING. We were so tired at this point I’m blanking on the names, but we checked in around 6pm on 8/15. They greeted us with such a cheerful demeanor it immediately changed the tone of what had been a terrible travel day.They gave us a complimentary took upgrade and sent a bottle of champagne with a sweet note. We couldn’t have had a better first night on our honeymoon, thanks to you guys. Not to mention the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are amazing. Best night of sleep before we head off to Belize!

My friend and I felt like we were being judged by the entire staff (with the exception of vallet, they were amazing).Upon arrival we asked about the M Lounge and were immediately told it was for only certain people with (status at there establishment).Well, guess what... we had that status but they didn't bother to check and decided to judge us by the way we looked walking in.We ended up getting our access but the rest of our stay, I still felt that other shifts looked down on me as if I didn't belong there. It's cool though I still have a smile on my face.I do want to add though that the building is incredibly beautiful and I really appreciate that they worked with the existing structure and added to make the beautiful hotel it is today instead of demolishing history and starting over.

Con la excusa de el Covid, El hotel no cuenta con servicio de limpieza en los cuartos aún que lo pedimos, ellos no limpiaron, ahora es cuando deberían de tener mejor limpieza, mal servicio
