“We booked a double room.for four nights prior to a trek so we could aclimatise. We checked in and unpacked and all seemed fine until renovations began on the roof above our room. It was so loud we could not utilise the room during the day, not good when you want to relax and aclimatise. We complained and were offered a tiny rom with paint peeling off the roof and that was filthy and still had garbage in the room. The place was very noisy even when renovating had stopped as people were coming and going all night and getting up at 3am to go on treks and tours, no insulation means you can hear hear everything from rooms both sides of you. Staff were nice as was the location and breakfast, its just a pity the profit is obviously put before guests in thi s hotrl. Only stay hear if you can handle a lot of noise, there are a lot of other places in Cusco...very unimpressed!!!!”
