We spent 6 nights there, this was the fourth hotel we stayed in during our recent vacation to Spain. The hotel was magnificent. It’s located 5 minutes from the Prado Museum and the Thyssen Museum. The room was one of the largest we had during our Spain trip. The bathroom contained a large shower and bidet. On arrival I stopped at the concierge and requested extra linens and toiletries. Everyday our room was perfectly prepared and the accommodation I requested provided. The breakfast was extensive and when I mentioned to Mayte that I like Pan de Santiago they ordered it and had it sent to my room. They provided unlimited bottle water and unlimited ice. The hotel was perfect because of its location, the excellent bed linens, robes and slippers. Most of all the hotel was excellent because of the service provided. I will definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you Mayte, and the rest of the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!

Pocos hoteles están tan bien ubicados como este. Excelente la atención desde la recepción hasta cada uno de los empleados que conocimos. Todo pensado para pasar una maravillosa estadia en Madrid. Sin dudas volveremos.cada vez que viajemos allí.

Me encantó el hotel. Las habitaciones son cómodas, aunque algo pequeñas, y la ubicación es buenísima. Nos tocó linda vista (desde el 5.º piso). El desayuno es caro, pero muy bueno. Si viene incluido con tu habitación, ¡no lo desperdicies! El personal fue muy amable. Por ejemplo, nos prestaron sombrillas para los días lluviosos y nos asesoraron bien sobre los lugares a los que podíamos ir. Muy buena experiencia.

Beautiful hotel and location. Staff were extremely kind polite, and very knowledgeable. Our very room had a comfortable bed - nice linen - The room stewards were lovely , cheerful and friendly and very hardworking. Breakfast was included and the quality of the breakfast was very good. I will consider this hotel on future visits.

Atención de todo el personal muy amable y profesional. Habitación y baño limpios y cómodos. Suficientes enchufes para poder conectar todos los dispositivos que nos suelen acompañar en nuestros viajes. Una lástima que la habitación no tuviese vistas a la calle, sino a un patio interior; esperamos tener más suerte la próxima vez. Desayuno abundante y con bastante variedad de opciones. No tienen parking propio pero recomiendan el cercano de las Cortes. Precio acorde a Madrid y a la zona en la que se encuentra con una excelente ubicación.

Estuvimos en la habitación suite y es una maravilla; lujo, comodidad y limpieza. Destacaría la agradable terraza con vistas y los ventanales del baño, así como la gran comodidad de la cama. La atención del personal, instalaciones del hotel y el desayuno también merecen un diez.

La ubicación es buenísima, al lado del Museo del Prado y muy cerca del Retiro, además de que puedes moverte andando por todo el centro. Las habitaciones un poco justas para ser para 3 personas y sin vistas pero acogedoras y limpias. El personal de recepción muy amable y atento en todo momento, te facilita mucho la estancia. El desayuno bastante diverso, además de que soy celíaca y no he tenido ningún problema, además el personal muy amable y atento.

I booked a superior room and received a very standard room. It looked like the space was previously a closet and someone decided to transform it into a hotel room. Our window was tiny and overlooking a wall (yes, a wall). Breakfast was just so plain and it costs 25 euro pp/day (better grab breakfast outside). We did not receive slippers in the room, and the floors were constantly cold, especially in the bathroom. Overall, I would have expected more from a 5 star hotel. Probably the best thing about this hotel is its location, steps away from Prado Museum, a few minutes walking distance to the main city attractions, restaurants and bars, as well as the airport shuttle. The staff was very kind, professional and always smiley, something of a rarity nowadays. I think the management, the quality of rooms and the facilities can be improved.

Fantastic location near The Prado and several other major museums. The beautiful Neptune fountain is also right outside the front door. Walking distance to many of the wonderful neighborhoods. Staff was great, breakfast even better. The rooms were on the small side, all somewhat angular which was all fine. My only complaint was the comfort of the bed. Not sure if it was too soft or too hard but it hurt my hips and I had to sleep on my back only so as not to ache.

Hotel que no merece cinco estrellas. Habitación 704 horrible: ventana mínima que da una pared, sin ninguna vista. Pasillos angostos, ascensores que tardan en horas punta, desayunos aceptables (hay que guardar larga fila)... Gran decepción. (lo mejor -y por lo que picas- es la ubiación)

Experiencia muy desagradable. Reservamos una habitación Superior, en el NH Alonso Martinez, y a la llegada nos indican que solo tienen una estándar, por lo que nos derivan a este hotel, NH Collection Madrid Paseo del Prado, donde no estamos conformes con la habitación que nos ofrecen pq no es lo que habíamos contratado, y ante nuestra queja a la recepcionista que se encontraba el 4-09-21 entre las 18:00- 18:30h, lejos de ayudarnos (superiores, dirección o cadena de NH), nos hecha del hotel, con la única solución de "que nos alojemos en el Palace u otro hotel que no fuera el suyo", y que llamáramos a la policía si queríamos. Este es el tipo de persona que tiene contratado este hotel en recepción.Como clientes de hace años de esta cadena hotelera, dejamos constancia de que gracias a esta señora mencionada nunca más utilicemos estos hoteles.

Sintiéndolo mucho y con toda la ilusión que puse al reservar una habitación superior en este hotel para el aniversario de los 50 años de casados de mis padres, debo decir que ha sido completamente un chasco. La habitación que me salía al hacer la reserva no tenía nada que ver con la que le dieron a mis padres. Una habitación a cuya cama casi tenías que acceder saltando a ella por la estrechez del pasillo, así como el cabecero de la misma que era muy antiguo y descascarillada la piel que tenía. El baño muy pequeño. Es como si les hubieran alojado en un trastero. Un engaño y desilusión para ese día. Cuando me enseñaron las fotos no daba crédito a la diferencia con la habitación que me aparecía. Sé lo que elegía: habitación superior que daba al patio interiory les dan esta habitación que da a la calle sin apenas visión.

Second time staying here. The hotel is very well located for transport links at Sol and Atocha, and is perfect for walks to museums and the Retiro park. The hotel staff were all very friendly and efficient and did everything they could to make the stay comfortable. Due to covid, the breakfast is not the buffet, but the alternative menus are just as good and can be customised to your liking. Good value for money overall, and no complaints.
