“Clean rooms, excellent service, good location, but the town is so small, any place is a good location. Very nice breakfast buffet, which opens early enough to eat and still catch the first buses to Machu Picchu. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Our favorites were Mapacho, Full House, and Alpakitay. Two things to consider: 1) Book a river-side room. The other side of the hotel faces a busy railroad, and 2) the rooms don't have AC.”

“We stayed at the Casa And ima Standard in Machu Picchu before touring Machu Picchu itself the next day. We got a room with a view of the river, and that was very nice. There were two double beds in our room. The breakfast was good too. We liked the hotel, and the staff was great!”
