Very clean hotel. Decently located, I was able to walk from the hotel to the Mercado in San Jose. One thing I would say is that upon check-in the staff could have been a bit more informative of things like where to find the pool, how to turn on your lights and other little things. Breakfast is good, always serving Gallo Pinto (YUM!!).

We stopped here on our way to start our adventure and everyone was very friendly. Free Breakfast was excellent and Juan Carlos was a lovely face to greet us. He was helpful and we hope to come back again some day.

Breakfast, beds, vinyl floors & city views excellent. Our pillows had a urine smell. The front desk phone did not pick up to help with exchanging them so that was not the best night's sleep. Room temperature was hard to control. Would've been great to have a surface beneath the TV to set things on in the premium room. Location is quiet but far from city center & sites.

Hotel was very accommodating and arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport at 3:00 in the morning. Breakfast was authentic local fare and Juan Carlos and the staff were great!

This hotel is very comfortable, with friendly helpful staff, large rooms, a decent breakfast buffet and nice pool. It is a little out of the centre but we had no problem walking to and from downtown during our stay. There are definitely some homeless people around, but that's the case in so many big cities these days. Very good for the price we paid.

We stayed at this hotel twice - at the beginning and end of a package tour of Costa Rica. The hotel is very well maintained and clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Our room rate included a buffet breakfast with a good selection of options. The downtown area is a short walk away, but the area is nothing special. Service was courteous and professional.

This is a great hotel in the San Jose area. The free breakfast is unmatched, and the rooms are super comfy and nice. My family enjoyed our stay here very much and would easily consider staying here again!

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Very clean. Prompt kind service. Very affordable for what you get. Great rooms. Comfortable bed. Small gym and pool. Bar and restaurant are not bad. The free breakfast was excellent with a ton of great choices. And very tasty. Good location. Safe guarded parking. We felt safe walking to Central marketplace. Just about 10 mins walking time to the heart of San Jose. Strongly recommend you experience cental marketplace. Its a great experience.

Unbeatable hotel in San Jose for the price. We stayed a night after a late flight and it was everything we expected and much more. Very clean, well decorated rooms, hot shower, and an amazingly delicious breakfast spread.

So you think you’ll be on a 5 star, but forget it, this hotel has a very nice view from the room and comfy beds, and that’s it. Check-in was the first miss, the receptionist was doing other things and nor minimally focused on us - she asked my name several times after having the passports in front of her (already with a copy done). Very basic information at check-in, 2 non working cards that we had to return back… 0 focus on the guests. Room was comfy with an amazing view, but… you ear the cars on the street, people coughing in the surroundings, a very noisy AC - a very poor night of sleep. The worst was yet to come, the breakfast. It’s a 5 star hotel where tables are not prepared, where basic food is presented with no labels, and where you have ask the employees about yogurt, eggs, sweets, etc… I even saw an employee catching the breadcrumbs from the table and putting it back on bread basket. The coffee was brown water, we asked for an espresso and guess what, we had to pay for it… at a 5 star hotel. After 2 weeks in Costa Rica, we’ve been better served at 3 star hotels, and magnificently served on a 4 star 1 km away from this one. I’ve been in several Radisson blue all over the world, and was unlucky to find the worst of all.
