Parking was SO bad. It took us over an hour to find a spot and then charged $51 dollars for 12 hours of parking. I am sure this is how it is all over downtown Chicago but it certainly started the trip off less than ideal. We had a couple incidents where staff acted like there was nothing to do to help and then when I asked to speak with supervisor (after push back that they even had one) all of a sudden our request could be met. Just a headache of a trip and next time will be looking to stay in a hotel with their own parking or valet, and management that is known for taken care of customers.

Really a nice hotel. Cleaner than most hotels I've been to before. No free wifi and parking is absurd unless you're used to big city pricing. Overall a nice hotel with good service. Had a conference here in their conference rooms and it went well.

It was AWESOME, even with covid. Room service was packaged like to go boxes. Restraint and bars were closed, but you could get most through room service.

Terrible experience. No bar / no restaurant / no room service / no confident store. NOTHING. Hotel does not even provide a snack or alcohol purchase at the checkin counter. Why would you spend $300 for a hotel that ONLY provides a bed!? Hotel room lacked toiletries and bottled waters. This sounds like first world problems, and it is, but that’s why I ask the question… why spend $$$ at this ‘luxury’ property when they provide zero amenities!? I personally won’t again. Also, hotel staff were fairly cold and almost condescending. Stay somewhere else - this hotel had zapped the fun out of traveling!

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a stay. They compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the most well known in this area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you choose this place you won't be disappointed. The Westin is hands down one of the best hotels in Chicago! I've also stayed at the other location on the Chicago River and love that one as well. If you like to shop or eat this is the place for you. Walking distance to a lot of entertainment and historic sights. Overall great experience!

Very average. It’s an older and dated hotel. The rooms are average. The bathrooms have a tight fit between the toilets, vanity, and the shallow old tub that serves also as your shower. On this visit, there were zero food/dining options aside from a coffee/pastry cart. I expected more from a Westin. Probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

The bed and location were awesome. The elevator was very quick and the lobby was very nice. The hot water came out as a trickle. My only concern. It was winter so a shower was like dry cleaning.

The location was super nice, very close to the water tower and 360 Chicago! Beds were comfy and the room was clean. There was water leaking from the windows because it was so cold. The staff just told us to put towels there to clean it up ourselves.

The location on the Magnificent Mile was great and the hotel had 4 start features. Chicago bars are pricey, compared to home, and this hotel's bar was no exception. You are paying for ambiance, higher taxes, and the increased overhead of the city.

Good location. most staff very friendly and helpful. Good food for a relatively reasonable price. Front desk understaffed and the least friendly/helpful of the staff. Temperature in both the bar and restaurant WAY too hot. Drinks overpriced. Registered guests should not have to pay for wifi in their rooms. Parking charge was ridiculous.

This is a great location for visiting the north side of Chicago. There is easy access to the Lakeside Trail just north of the hotel. The staff are welcoming and helpful. This is an exceptional and well run hotel.

The location! It was right across from the wedding ceremony we were attending. The pillows were AWFUL... so soft your head sank to the bottom. I had a sore neck each morning. I feel like there were other options nearby that were just as centrally located and had better amenities (pool).

Very nice hotel and perfect location. i If you have status with Marriott you can get really nice rooms. The staff is cheerful and efficient and the location is just outside the busier parts of downtown, making it a little quieter. Many restaurants nearby and the place to be if you’re planning activities in Chicago downtown area.

The stay at this Westin was magical. From the moment we stepped foot on the property, Tommy and Keith we’re beyond helpful. Every time we had a question they were right there with great recommendations and amazing service. And, I would be remiss if I did not speak to the quality service that Alfredo, the Concierge , assisted us with. We had a wonderful trip and will without a doubt be staying at this location again.

Location and staff was very nice Room air conditioner did not work well, was not comfortable. Called front desk, talked to maintenance and was better 2nd night but still not great. Sounded to me like they just regulate the air and won't let it get too cool to save money.

Beautiful, clean hotel in an amazing location. I stayed here for a work conference and was very satisfied. The bell hops were great, check in smooth, and views of the John Hancock were abundant. They also have water and food for dogs! Great place!

The hotel is great as expected. The room is clean and spacious. I really like their housekeeping. Whenever we stay in a hotel, we often move things around to make it more comfortable for ourselves. For example, moving the tissue box from bathroom to my nightstand. Many times housekeeping will move things back to their original places, but this doesn’t, so it doesn’t make me move things again. It feels like they know what you want them to clean and arrange. The location is amazing. It is right on the Michigan Avenue and you can walk to shops and restaurants any time. The service was also very good. I will stay here again.
