Bahia Principe Grand El Portillo
This stylish hotel is centrally located directly next to El Portillo beach and only 4 km from the centre of the tourist resort of Las Terrenas (Samana). The hotel lies in a quiet and idyllic location, surrounded by large palm trees in the middle of a tropical nature area. Flip-flops are recommended due to the offshore coral reefs. “We had a wonderful time at this resort back in 2013! We went there for week in September and we got amazing weather too and price was great! We absolutely fell in love with the morning walk at this resort so peaceful and beautiful. We planing to go back again.”
— Peter Pohanka
“The resort has nothing to offer, although clean and quiet. This is not a 5 star resort more or a 2 star.
And the majority of the staff are arrogant and unhelpful. And the fact that they allow the locals to take over on the weekends it completely unacceptable. We have stayed at several Bahia resorts in the past, this one we will never visit again, and will inform anyone who asks us if they should stay we will advise no.
This was supposed to be a great vacation for my husband 50th birthday, it was far from the best. Never again”
