Recebi um upgrade e o quarto superou as expectativas.

Atendimento do hotel muito bom, tanto como o serviço de quarto. O único grande problema é o fato de ter apenas 2 elevadores para muitos quartos, quando tivemos que levar as bagagens, esperamos mais de 30 minutos só para poder entrar no elevador, pois os mesmo sempre estavam cheios.

NOT ADA ACCESSIBLE. Stay at The Drake Hotel if possible!! I am a disabled combat veteran with a service animal. My mother and I contacted the hotel at approximately 2pm to verify the reservation included the note about a service animal, and we were asked for a letter verifying training. I contacted the trainer to have a letter specifically addressed to the hotel. The trainer spoke with the manager, who stated they would not require a letter following the phone call. However, the manager stated a cleaning fee would be charged, despite the service animal trainer providing ada.gov website and guidelines concerning cleaning fee. The manager also stated the supporting policy would be provided to the trainer. I followed up with an email requesting the specific letter expectations and the policy citing cleaning fee. This email was also sent to the general manager, who did not reply. The manager did not respond and refused to provide the policy when I arrived. Upon arrival at 9pm, the manager refused my reservation due to their no pet policy. The manager refused to provide written documentation of this policy, as well as a written explanation of the reservation refusal so as to support a refund. The manager stated the ADA policy does not support service animals. The Drake is our usual hotel and kept my previous reservation information. They were happy to over accommodate us based on our discriminatory experience at the Essex.

My name is Asia Clark and I recently did a stay-cation ( #Staycationwithasia ) with the delightful hotel. I chose this hotel based on a poll I took via Facebook and a few people suggested ESSEX HOTEL for my stay. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING THEY SAID🙌🏼! I couldn’t have been happier with this decision. The atmosphere, the staff, the room, food accessibility, everything was top-knotch and grade A. The staff members that stood out the most were Brian, Tiara, and Darius. They made sure my stay was beyond exceptional. There were so many great amenities in my room not to mention the location of the hotel being on mainstream Michigan Ave in Chicago’s famous downtown area. One of the coolest features was the Bluetooth radio that played within the bathroom mirror. I thought that was so tech-savvy and modernized. The view over looking the magnificent mile and Lake Michigan was absolutely breathtaking at any time of the day. I had a restful and very comfortable stay. I would recommend this hotel to any and everyone including families with children.

It was a very nice hotel. The staff was Excellent, my friend and I mainky spoke with Tiara and she was amazing and very personable! She gets a 5⭐. I really wasn't too impressed with the size of the room for two people and I wasn't expecting an extra charge upon arrival that I wouldnt get back. The location is great, and the rooms were clean except for some crevasses. Th A/C was not working properly and my friend and I both very hot.

I booked the best room they had which is the Skyline King. Smaller than they advertise, there was no table or chair to put your stuff on. A lot of bugs in the room and when we told the front desk about it, the lady was like “oh its normal, all our rooms have bugs”. The shower was very small and a lot of water splashes outside. Our blanket had small spots of blood, I was gonna change it but noticed very late. The only thing I liked about staying there was the lake view from our room.

The Hotel was nice and quiet. The only downside is no place to park and the garage behind the hotel is a little sketchy. The gym is nice and clean and I enjoyed it. $15 resort fee 👎🏾

Localizacao excelente, instalaciones excelente mas, nao inclui café da manha e nao compensa contratar separado porque e muito caro.

Lastima que lo engañan a uno con el precio, porque el hotel es muy bonito y cómodo, pero al final le cobran cargos extras por servicios como el wifi y otros que deberían ser parte del precio.

Tiene una ubicación muy buena. Es un hotel adecuado para hacer turismo/negocios y conocer la cuidad. Esta equipado con lo básico y esta bien nadie viene a pasar su tiempo en el hotel.

Buen hotel, buena ubicación y limpio. Se ve muy lujoso pero le falta mantenimiento (no todas las luces encendían, la ducha echaba poca agua...) pero en general fue una buena estadía
