I have stayed here several times on business trips. The suites on the upper floors are a dream, there is a "breakfast street" with high quality food and the hotel has very good service. The location is central, close to the Oriental Pearl.

Estou aqui há duas semanas. Hotel: O café da manhã (cerca de 6h30 às 10h30) estava incluído e era bom. Há um restaurante italiano e espanhol muito recomendável. Além disso, no 30º andar há um bar que oferece uma vista muito bonita do rio Huangpu. A academia funciona 24 horas por dia e possui equipamentos simples para treinamento. A sauna e a piscina são pequenas, mas não estão lotadas. Localização: fica a 3-4 minutos a pé da estação de metrô Lujiazui (linha 2). Para cada caminho, não importa aonde você queira ir, você paga 3RMB e é muito rápido em qualquer lugar em Xangai. A desvantagem são as opções de comida nas proximidades. Não é permitido fumar dentro das instalações do hotel. Então você tem que sair do hotel para fumar (mesmo se você estiver no 30º andar de um bar) Pessoal: Na recepção todos falam inglês e por isso não tem dificuldades de comunicação. Eles são todos simpáticos e amigáveis. No geral, muito bom e recomendado.

I have been here for two weeks. Hotel: The breakfast (about 6:30 to 10:30am) was included and it was good. There is an Italian and Spanish restaurant, which are very recommendable. Furthermore, on the 30th floor there is a bar which offers a very nice view of Huangpu River. The gym is open 24 hours a day and has simple equipment for training. Sauna and pool are small but not crowded. Location: it is 3-4 minutes walk to Lujiazui metro station (line 2). For each way, no matter where you want to go, you pay 3RMB and you are very fast everywhere in Shanghai. Disadvantage is the food options nearby. Smoking inside the hotel facilities is not allowed. So you have to go out of the hotel to smoke(even if you are at 30th floor at bar ) Staff: At the reception they all speak English and so you have no communication difficulties. They are all nice and friendly. Overall, very good and recommended.

Fiquei aqui há alguns anos durante a nossa visita a Xangai e esqueci totalmente de postar um comentário. Amamos nossa estadia. F&B foi excelente, mesmo se o café da manhã foi um pouco agitado. Certamente voltaria.

Best hotel I have ever been in. The best thing is the view. Rooms are large and have large panorama windows. We stayed in the 22nd floor and the view was amazing. The hotel is located in the financial district/Pudong of Shanghai.

As a top (Black) tier member of the loyalty scheme that this hotel subscribes to, it would be reasonable to expect to be treated with some respect. Instead, we were subjected to a well planned and disgraceful con. We are entitled to a double upgrade which should get us a room with executive lounge access. However on check in we were informed that this would be an additional $115USD per night. Nowhere does it say that this is the hotel policy and it is not consistent with other hotels in the loyalty scheme. It is clearly a deliberate ruse to extract more money from loyal customers. This is very short term thinking as I will not be staying in a Kempinski hotel again. As well, I will be taking my business to a loyalty scheme worthy of its name.

Location is perfect. Very quite in the evening and with riverside view. Not far from the bank. Suitable for jogging in the early morning. You can find many entertainments nearby in Lujiazhui area. Buen hotel si de lujo. El dasayuno completísimo. Lo malo me cobraron Internet al momento de conectarse hay que tener cuidado por la opción wife free. No aparece aparece otra opción y uno piensa que se está conectando al wify gratis. Y nos así. Sale costoso al final la solpresa. Nada económico. Les aconsejo no usar este servicio hay otros compañeros que no usaron Internet y les cobraron este servicio.

My experience at the Grand Kempinski just keeps getting better and better.The staff at all levels is fantastic.The Lady In Read team is superb with Lolita, Eva, and Bella being standouts.Housekeeping staff is fantastic, and the show up when needed right away.The lounge is a great place for cocktails at night, and breakfast in the morning.Judith is the executive lounge manager, and she is very warm, friendly and accommodating.On many occasions I have required a late check-out because my flight was delayed, and the front desk took care of it no problem.The rooms are clean and well appointed.I pay for allmy business hotels, and I have stayed in many hotels in Shanghai, however, the Kempinski keeps me coming back every time.Great hotel, great staff, excellent management !Location Excellent !

An absolutely beautiful hotel. Clean, modern and comfortable. The service is fantastic but not everyone speaks English which can be frustrating at times. The views are stunning from the indoor pool at the top. The food is great although very pricey which is expected for a 5 star hotel. The location of the hotel is great with the subway train just a 5min walk down the road. The concierge is also very good with helping to guide tourists around the beautiful Shanghai city. I will definitely be back!

He visitado muchisimas veces Shanghai y jamas he dudado en alojarme en este estupendo Hotel . La gentileza de Carlos Chavez , su Gerente , hace que la estadia sea confortable y muy agradable , en un clima de cordialidad y respeto . Las habitaciones impecables , la atencion de su personal , tambien . Un lugar cien por ciento recomendable .

El hotel cuenta con una excelente ubicación,en pleno centro financiero, próximo a zona comercial y estación de metro. Zonas Comunes muy bien cuidadadas y limpias, excelente zona de spa con unas vistas increíbles. Las habitaciones con WiFi gratis, son muy grandes y acogedoras, las camas excelentes y el baño muy amplio sin faltar detalle. La televisión ni la pusimos, ni un solo canal en español. Lo peor la zona de copas o bar lounge, no tienen hielo en condiciones, no saben poner un buen combinado, y me tomé el peor mojito de mi vida, ni aposta se puede hacer tan malo, sabor a detergente como poco. También serios problemas para encontrar cerveza bien fría. Eso sí las vistas fantásticas. En definitiva, volvería sin duda pero no entraría al bar. Por cierto un café con leche unos 10 euros.
