“Overall Now Jade was a nice hotel! Appearance wise it undergoing some construction and you can tell they must’ve been affected by the hurricane because there was a lot of damaged trees and water in places that shouldn’t have been. There aren’t as many activities to do on this particular resort I would say then others I have visited, however because we came for relaxation this time we were ok with that. The spa was amazing they get 5 stars from me. The beach is smaller and has a very short shoreline so if you are looking for a hotel with a nice beach this hotel may not be for you. We opted to stay near the pool area for swimming as the waters seemed rough and due to the small shoreline the water came up much too high. The food was average if I’m being honest. The mid day lunch at the international cafe was my least favorite the food was sub par at best. Hands down the best restaurant was the French place. Best service best ambiance and quality of food we had the entire time. The Italian place was also very good. The path to get here I probably would not recommend, we are taught to not ride through standing water but the only paths to get to this place were filled with multiple huge parts with standing high waters, I was nervous out of my mind. We overall had a nice experience for what it was but I would probably choose a different resort next time. We also had a issue with our room where the ceiling Over the tub has a leak and it starting to fall Down, they were able to swap us to a different room so that was appreciated and the new room was much better with a different view that didn’t look like wastelands.”

“My wife and I have been to Mexico a combined 20 times more or less and this is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The room was superb (we had an ocean front view on the 3rd floor). By far the best food we have ever had at a resort and some of the nicest staff you’ll ever meet. Edwin at the Carnival Buffet was exceptional as well as Lucy at the Cafe. We are not fluent Spanish speakers by any means but we try to converse as much as we can and everyone was more than happy to help us out and be patient with us as we were practicing. The entertainment staff was one of the best we’ve ever seen. Saul, Gabriel, Christian, and Emilio were so much fun to be around and made all the activities extremely enjoyable. As far as COVID is concerned, we felt extremely safe with all the added protocols they had in place. Every single staff member wore a mask at all times and they were very diligent in reminding guests to wear theirs in common areas. Hand sanitizer was stationed throughout the resort as well. In all, we felt very safe on the resort. We booked our shuttle directly with the hotel (highly recommend) and we were greeted with nonstop shuttle service to and from the airport. Best experience we have ever had with a shuttle service. All in all, we highly recommend this resort!”
