“Visité Casablanca, Marruecos por primera vez la semana pasada. Reservé una estancia de 4 noches en el Hotel De La Corniche y estaba muy decepcionado. Los baños no estaban muy limpios y olían a orina. Tenía que tener a alguien que viniera a limpiarlo de nuevo. No hay caja fuerte en la habitación, no hay armario (solo un poco de espacio con una barra para colgar la ropa, pero no hay perchas), el teléfono de la habitación no funcionaba y la habitación de mi amigo no tenía teléfono en absoluto, si su habitación da a la habitación. En la calle no podrás dormir porque es muy ruidoso día y noche. La conexión wifi es horrible, cortando constantemente o no funciona en absoluto. Asegúrate de pedir una cama tamaño queen o te quedarás atrapado con 2 camas gemelas pequeñas, las habitaciones también son bastante pequeñas. Y también asegúrate de tener una habitación para no fumadores o va a oler a cigarrillos. La televisión no tenía audio, así que era básicamente inútil. Mi amigo pidió cambiar de habitación varias veces durante un período de 2 días, me dijeron que lo harían pero nunca lo hicieron. El sitio web dice que hay desayuno incluido, que broma. El desayuno consistía en huevos duros, sopa, pan rancio y algo de fruta de aspecto triste. Fuimos el primer día y nunca volvimos por el resto de nuestra estancia. Además, al registrarse en el hotel tomaron nuestros pasaportes y nunca los devolvieron. Cuando me di cuenta de que no tenía mi pasaporte, fui a pedirlo y, al principio, el hombre de la recepción me dijo que no lo tenía. Cuando miré hacia abajo, ¡vi el pasaporte de mi amigo! Repetí que mi pasaporte nunca me fue devuelto, luego dijo que solo tiene un pasaporte allí y que no es mío, pero que comprobaría. ¡Luego procedió a sacar mi pasaporte sin tener que buscarlo! ¡Así que él sabía dónde estaba todo el tiempo! Mi amigo también bajó y consiguió su pasaporte también. No sé cuál es su trato o qué intentaron hacer con nuestros pasaportes, pero eso fue muy sombrío y ¡no me fiaría de ellos en absoluto! Nunca volvería a este hotel y no lo recomiendo a nadie. Hay muchas cosas alrededor del hotel, así que la ubicación no es mala, pero también hay muchos personajes con sombra que merodean por ahí. Ve a otro hotel, has sido advertido.”

“I visited Casablanca, Morocco for the first time last week. I booked a 4 night stay at Hotel De La Corniche and was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. The bathrooms were not very clean and smelled like piss. I had to have someone come up and clean it again. There is no safe in the room, no closet (just a little space with a rod to hang clothes but no hangers), the phone in the room did not work and my friend's room had no phone at all, if your room is facing the street you won't get any sleep because it is so noisy day and night. The wifi connection is horrible, constantly cutting off or not working at all. Make sure to ask for a queen bed or you'll get stuck with 2 tiny twin beds, the rooms are also pretty small. And also make sure you get a non smoking room or it will smell like cigarettes. The television had no audio so it was basically useless. My friend asked to change rooms multiple times over a 2 day period, they kept saying they would do it but never did. The website says there is breakfast included, what a joke. The breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, soup, stale cake bread, and some sad looking fruit. We went the first day and never went back for the rest of our stay. Also, upon checking into the hotel they took our passports and never gave them back. When I realized I didn't have my passport I went to ask for it and at first the man at the front desk told me he doesn't have it, when I looked down I saw my friend's passport! I repeated that my passport was never returned to me, then he said he only has one passport there and it is not mine but that he would check. He then proceeded to pull my passport out without having to search for it at all! So he knew where it was the whole time! My friend also went down and got their passport as well. I don't know what their deal is or what they were trying to do with our passports but that was very shady and I wouldn't trust them at all! I would never go back to this hotel and I don't recommend it to anyone. There are lots of things around the hotel so location is not bad but also lots of shady characters lurking around too. Go to another hotel, you've been warned.”
