This was the best hotel I stayed at during my recent trip and I absolutely loved it. The staff were superb. Everyone was just so kind and went above and beyond to make me happy. Check in was seamless. Late checkout was offered so I could use their well-appointed 24 hour gym. The restaurant was amazing. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything but also very quiet somehow. The room had a beautiful view and I got the best sleep I’ve had in a year. I’ll be coming back here for sure!

This resort is one of my favorites in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure will love it I'm sure! Beautiful hotel. The entire place was spotless. My room was huge. Very comfortable bed. I spent a few days there for a conference and the catered food was delicious! They accommodated my food allergies very well. Can't say enough about how at home I felt. Great service.

I stayed here this past Saturday and don’t have any major complaints. The city view room was beautiful (although I would have preferred staying on a higher floor). The service from the time we pulled in was good. The inside of the hotel was clean and very nice. The price was extreme but I won’t complain. The bar area was nice (even though I didn’t get a chance to go over and get a drink). They had a store inside that had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and everything we did was in walking distance for the most part. We took Lyft for everything that wasn’t. I highly recommend and will be back

Beautiful hotel. The entire place was spotless. My room was huge. Very comfortable bed. I spent a few days there for a conference and the catered food was delicious! They accommodated my food allergies very well. Can't say enough about how at home I felt. Great service.

This place is one of the most well known in the area. I've been staying here for years. If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I'm sure! I've stayed in this Hotel for only one night at my arrival in Chicago and it was great. I had a great view, the room was cosy and clean and the bed was very comfortable. I want to mention the super helpful and friendly service team, especially Nelson and the Lady I don't the name. He was so patient with helping us to find a parking lot. Insane great experience! I loved it and can recommend it to anyone else.

This hotel is poorly run and not well maintained. We reserved, and paid for in advance, two rooms on the Hyatt website at the beginning of May. At the end of May when we checked in, neither of the room types that we had booked were available because the hotel staff was “unaware that certain floors needed maintenance” when the online reservations were made. Instead we were given two rooms of different types, one of which was a significant downgrade in room type and quality from what had been booked online. These rooms also had maintenance issues. Two of the three corner moldings in my room were gone and just the glue remained (photo). Indeed, halfway through our four night stay, an unexpected plumbing problem elsewhere in the building required me to change rooms so they could shut off the water. At least in the new room, all the corner moldings were still glued on. In the rooms and hallways, scuff marks on the walls were distinctly noticeable (photo). Past the lobby, the hotel had a shabby feel and look to it. It must have been quite nice – once. The attitude of the hotel management to the downgrade in the type of the other room was indifference. The couple in that room were offered no compensation either during their stay or afterward for receiving a lower quality room than we had paid for. I can only recommend that you check out the many other fine hotels in downtown Chicago.

The staff was EXCELLENT! They were always readily available to assist with any and every issue. They were very accommodating to the needs of their guests. The view facing the river is lovely. There's a bar and restaurant on site. And the Riverwalk is a short walk from the hotel, which presents a lovely scenic route.

I didn’t stay for the hotel but came here for my prom at the banquet hall. The experience was great but our waitress could’ve been better. We got no water refills and when we kept asking they said okay and never did. We got a chicken entree with this interesting Mac and cheese. The appearance was great but the food had no flavor and the chicken was pink. I didn’t eat half of my food and I felt so sick after it. I’ve expected better but I hope this isn’t recurring for individuals attending the banquet. If I could give a 3.5 that would be my final choice.

I visited this property for a conference and overall would give this an excellent stay review. There is a lot of accessibility within the hotel and the surrounding area. The biggest highlight is the front desk staff. They go above and beyond for guests. I was originally in a room right next to the elevator (just a wall between my room and the shaft) so I struggled the first two nights not sleeping. I went to ask for some ear plugs as with a conference it is very hard to move and adjust which I understand. I had no expectations but the manager I happened to speak to immediately suggested a move and was apologetic. I insisted moving was not necessary but he persisted and assured me it was no problem and my comfort was important. I did a poor job with names being in shock of their kindness, but I believe his started with a N or maybe was Nelson? He worked with Cassandra I believe as well. I do remember her name tag noted Port Au Prince, Haiti. Those two are exceptional and have nothing but my gratitude. Great hotel!
