Nice location and facilities. I have stayed twice at this hotel. Would rate the modest breakfast a 3/5. The staff is ok, but the receptionists, from my experience, left some to be desired on helpfulness. I left in the room some clothes - one piece held a lot of sentimental value - and called back a few days later to ask for way to retrieve those items. I was told I would be contacted and I never was. Until I called again a few more days later only to get a flat out answer - from another receptionist - that no items were reported found, only to get rushed. This ruined my experience. I'll be sure to book another hotel on my next business trip to BUD.

you get what you pay for - NH + location (close to margareth-island) + breakfast is ok (nice breakfast team) - long checkin process - front desk via phone not reachable - bathroom oldfashioned and not the cleanest - harsh contact person for business accomodation booking

For the third day in the row at NH hotel City Budapest , the plates and cups in the breakfast room are dirty, with dried food rests on them. And not just one; pick any plate from the buffet and you will see the same. Meanwhile, the kitchen and cleaning staff of NH hotel City Budapestare comfortably hanging out on the street in front of the main entrance smoking cigarettes. “4-star hotel in the NH chain”? “Taking COVID-19 measures seriously”? At least I’m lucky and never need to stay at NH hotel City Budapest again.

Unbeatable location, large and comfortable room, comfortable bed and pillows, phenomenal service. The breakfast in the room service and in the restaurant was among the best we ate anywhere in the world. What a treat! We felt so welcome and pampered from the moment we entered the lobby until the moment we left. The hotel manager is a kind person and has always been around and willing to help with any questions. And his staff created a charming and personal experience at this beautiful hotel. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Great location but simply not worthy of being classed as 4 star or part of the NH group. Bar was closed, no robe/slippers as should have been for room selection. Air conditioning unoperable. Just two coffee sachets supplied. Breakfast area just OK (I fell for reviews of excellent breakfast), only one coffee machine operating. Skipped final morning breakfast.

We've stayed for one night only but we had the best sleep ever. The rooms are cozy and clean, with a nice view of the interior lobby. Although there is a lot of traffic outside, inside is completely silence which is perfect. Another advantage is the proximity of the nearby public transportation but i also recommend down walking if you want to see more around the city.

Extremely friendly staff. Rooms are super nice and the view is really special. The location is very ideal and close to public transportation. The hotel offers sauna, solarium and fitness area in such a good state.

I stayed here solo for my birthday for three days. The were super nice from day 1, they brought me a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and a card. They allocated me a beautiful room with lovely views as I had requested and Tamara, from reception, and another lovely lady on the weekend, were incredibly helpful and friendly. I felt like home. Breakfast was super nice and tasty and lots of options. They prepared me a breakfast box for the day I was leaving really early. The room was huge and spotless with a lovely balcony with city views. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back for sure! Super quiet and the bed was huge and incredibly comfy!

The hotel needs a refurbishment. Also, I think they need to revise the quality of the breakfast, as NH usually really cares about it. Besides this, employees were really nice in all areas.

All quality services. It is the first hotel where it is really clean (it doesn't blow dust from one side to the other). The heat was a small inconvenience but at the same time it was good.

The room was clean and tidy. However, the receptionist charged us twice for taxi service and we only took a taxi from the reception during our check out!!! We were in hurry and I noticed the extra charge after we left from the hotel. It's not the cost of 2 euros, it's the malicious action of the receptionist.

The apartment was spacious. Everything was nice and clean, but the windows were dirty. Bed was really comfortable. The staff was very friendly and kindly granted us a late check-out. There were not many choices for breakfast, e.g. there was no chocolate or cream cheese spread, nor pancakes. The breakfast was too poor for alleged 5 star hotel. Coffee was from a vending machine and was of poor taste, mostly water, not much of a coffee. The spa area is actually a part of New York hotel and it was a calming experience. The sauna is really small, only for 2-3 people. There was also a bath steam room, but it was out of service.

Spent a few days in this hotel. Great location easy access to the public transport, 3 minutes walk to river Danube. Modern building, friendly staff. The breakfast was very tasty. The room quite big and well equipped. Gym and sauna at the top floor. Only small issues with cleaning: a dead bug on the window sill, and the previous guests rubbish in the bin. Otherwise OK.

Are you looking for a fair quality vs. price stay in the city center of Budapest? As a regular customer of NH Hotels I had big expectations regarding my future stay at NH Budapest City. My expectations were exceeded... amazing personnel, clean rooms, well maintained building, just like a jewel of hospitality in the middle of Budapest. Parking available on site or street parking (free in weekends), metro station 5 min walk, plenty of tourist attraction at few minutes walking and why not an Bubi to ride. Breakfast is diverse and fresh ... but coffee... the BEST one I had in a hotel UNTIL NOW. Try NH Rewards and you will have more benefits like I had free late check-out... first time I felt like home and not like in a hurry. Thank you team NH Budapest City, see you soon!

Nice hotel in the city center, close to Danube river. Good breakfast. Clean room. Negative aspects: the bathroom has no ventilation and sometimes there is a bad smell. At the reception or in the room would be nice to find some touristic information, a city guide...

Habitaciones amplias, camas cómodas y grandes. Baños limpísimos y desayuno buenísimo tipo buffet, en donde hay platos calientes, embutidos y bollería. El hotel se encuentra a unos 5 min caminando de paradas de tranvía, bus,metro y del Parlamento. 100 % recomendado.

Un hotel práctico, bien situado y con unas habitaciones amplias. El barrio es tranquilo pero céntrico, puedes ir de un paseo al casco histórico viendo la imponente arquitectura y como no, el Parlamento como máximo estandarte. Sobre el hotel algo que nos sorprendió gratamente: su gastronomía. Tanto en el restaurante como en el excelente Room service.100%recomendable probar platos típicos sin salir del hotel.

Buen trato con el personal aunque no sabían español trataban de entendernos. El café de sobre era gratuito y lo reponían todos los días al igual que champús y geles de baño, las toallas limpias todos los días. Se ve un hotel Moderno y con muy buena comunicación de transporte y en el centro. A 3 min del Parlamento en transporte

muy buen hotel, excelente ubicación, el desayuno tiene para todos los gustos y costumbres, mi punto negativo es que nos tocaron 2 camas juntas por lo que el cobertor tb era individual , nosotros habíamos pedido cama matrimonial, llegamos tan cansados y tarde que lo dejamos pasar. el hotel es limpio aunque tiene sus pequeños detalles, en resumen un buen hotel de 4 estrellas enorme y por supuesto impersonal.

Nos trataron estupendamente. La comida estaba muy buena y la habitacion siempre muy limpia y ordenada. Me gustó el detalle de tener un termo eléctrico de agua en la habitación con infusiones y café. Eché en falta pasta de dientes y el tapón de la bañera no funcionada por lo que no me pude dar un baño relajante... Las vistas de nuesta habitacion no eran buenas y el bar era algo caro. El hotel está muy bien situado a 5 minutos del puente de las cadenas.
