“This is another place. The Nile flows past. The hotel has an old world charm of a bygone gracious era. The furnishing, the art, the books piled in tables ... it looks like a home, not a hotel. We just went for tea, but we're lucky to be allowed to walk around. The palace of King Farouk, this place is a walk through an age gone by.”

“This hotel has probably the most amazing garden in Egypt. But I have a big appeal to the management. Guys, please free all caged birds in the garden. We live in the 21st century. Nobody enjoys caged animals anymore. There are enough free birds living and singing in your beautiful garden. This cage in the midst of the garden looks like a prison in paradise.
I hope that you will listen to your hearts and give freedom to those amazing creatures.
