We recently stayed 3 nights at Fort Wilderness and had the most amazing time!! The campground itself is incredible! So clean, so well-kept, so beautiful, so comfortable and SO natural. The trees, the wildlife, the river...everything about the environment there was peaceful and gave us time to sit and cherish and make wonderful memories. We rode horses, rented a golf cart (highly recommend and do it in advance just to be sure), LOVED gem mining, and enjoyed the heated pool. Next time we will do archery! I’d like to make a personal employee shout out to Dorothy at the The Meadow Trading Post. She was so kind and helpful. Her knowledge and recommendations made our stay even better and we thought it was already spectacular! She helped us with any questions we had and she made outstanding recommendations. Dorothy is definitely the example of an employee with outstanding customer service, loves what she does and shows it, and definitely makes guests feel like a friend and want to return. We cooked most of our own food at our campsite but allow me to recommend one dinner takeout from P&J’s. We ordered the dinner that served 4-6 people and the ribs and chicken were great but WOW oh WOW do not miss the Strawberry Shortcake! It is amazing! We are definitely planning on returning and so looking forward to it! Thank you Fort Wilderness and all of your staff!

We loved staying in our cabin! So clean, updated, and quiet! It was so nice to go back to relax at our cabin after the long days we spent at the parks, it was almost like going back home. I also really liked having the extra space away from other guests and being able to keep our car parked by the cabin for easier access. Rent a golf cart too, if you can, it makes things easier to get around when you can’t use your car. All in all, really enjoyed our stay! Would easily do it again!

I really wanted to give 5 stars because it’s really a “roughing it in comfort” type of resort. The biggest flaw however are the mattresses! Absolute pieces of garbage! My back hurt each night from them, you can tell they are cheap and at almost $500 a night for a cabin, I’m expecting a sensational mattress! I did like everything else, very scenic and calming. Not your stereotypical Disney hotel where the theme threw up in your lap, very understated in that way. Having a full kitchen was amazing and a lot of people can sleep. I would stay again but I’d have to bring a pillow top or something. Overall recommend.

For a top notch camping experience, you just cannot beat Disney's Camp Wilderness. Everything about this park is A+: clean, spacious & beautifully wooded with transportation throughout the park easily accessible, wherever you are. The heated swimming pool is great and the kiddos can enjoy a fun-filled playground. The boat ride to the Magic Kingdom is an added perk. There are bike/walking trails, fishing and horseback riding opportunities as well. This is one fabulous "glamping" experience!

Acreditem… só tem umlago que separa o acampamento Fort Wilderness do maravilhoso Parque Magic Kingdom. Vocês podem alugar tanto as cabanas como as barracas, ou um local para estacionar seu Motorhomes. A infraestrutura do acampamento é sensacional!! Muita segurança, banheiros completos, limpezae a organização do Fort Wilderness faz a gentelembrar que estamos acampando dentro do parque da Disney. Não esqueça de levar ou alugar sua bicicleta para se locomover pelo Fort Wilderness, ou então alugue aqueles carrinhos de golf. As piscinas e os playground são super divertidos e agradaram muito as crianças. Durante a estadia no Camping ou nas Cabanas, algumas atraçōes são gratuitas ( campfire, show do Tico e teco, cineminha e outros…) Mas também fizemos alguns passeios pagos que as crianças amaram !! Andar a cavalo, montar no ponney e passear de barcos são algunsdesses passeios que não podem faltar nesse acampamento. O café da manhã e outras refeicōes tem que ser agendados, mas vale muito a pena

O ligar parece cenas espetaculares dos melhores camping de filmes, claro, da Disney. Experiência que vale a pena pra quem quer contato mais próximo da natureza e do mágico mundo dos sonhos...

Sites are adequate size length wise, clean and spacious between the neighbors. Biggest issue is that you need to position the trailer to one side of the spot because if you have the solid steps they need all the room so you are not hanging off the edge. Even then you just have enough room . Lots to do here without even leaving the camp bit also easy to get to other things like disney, epcot etc. Lots of transportation available. Plenty of bath houses scattered around and spotless as you would expect at disney.

They are taking COVID restrictions very serious. Even make people wear masks on the golf carts. Still had a very pleasant disney experience. Plus— the new horse stable is beautiful!

Amazing security - Great bus drivers - Only camp ground that I have ever seen wash the pad after you leave. Are lot# 210 fit are big 40 foot 5 slid camper very well not much room on the side but we fit. Very clean lot everything worked 30 & 50 amp. Huge treat too see turkey 🦃out the back and 🦌 also at night. Office needs better maps for the campers and need to explain on witch way a big camper should go in and out. So make sure to ask so you don't have to back up. Over all we had a great time over Christmas 🎄 enjoyed wish we could stay longer.

Not very happy with this weekend stay. The public fire pit is shut down in lieu of COVID I suspect. The park fireworks are paused. The laser show is scheduled at 9:45pm. Seriously 9:45pm? They were out of golf cart rentals. You can go stay at any of the non-Disney camp sites in Florida at one-third of the price. Won't come here again. It is downright folly to pay a steep price for no amenities. I should have researched better and asked the right questions.

Great place for a vacation. We took our RV Trailer to Fort Wilderness. The camp sites our spacious and, the trees and bushes our strategically placed to give maximum privacy . The have horses 🐎 available for riding. There is also a heated pool ,boats for rent and alot of fishing areas.

Este é um lugar fabuloso para ficar. Eu atribuo a isso um 4 estrelas apenas porque a Disney não treina sua equipe de acampamento para realmente conhecer o acampamento, locais, onde os campistas se encaixam melhor, etc. Eles não têm noção quando se trata dessas coisas. Os campistas menores não teriam problemas para manobrar em torno dos loops, mas quando você obtém 5ª rodas grandes e de Classe A, isso é outra história. Os jardins são bonitos, limpos e a equipe é simpática.

We stay for a long weekend in December annually! It is a fun family tradition! We lice close to Disney and have plenty of opportunities to visit the park, so we use this opportunity to take advantage of the campgrounds!This year we visited the horses, watched my niece participate in archery, went to the pool, and looped and looped and looped to see the decorations!

This is a fabulous place to stay.I give it a 4 star only because Disney does not train its campground staff to actually know the campground, sites, where campers would fit best, etc.They are clueless when it comes to these things.Smaller campers would have no problem maneuvering around the loops but when you get large 5th wheels and Class A’s, that is another story.The grounds are beautiful, clean and the staff is nice.

Visited Disney Fort Wilderness Campground and it was Top Notch. Lots of great things to do with the family and we will definitely be back again. We rented the cabin and it was clean and comfortable and worth the price. If you really want to enjoy this park my recommendation is you take bicycles, and scooters to move around and also reserve a Golf Cart because they go fast. Highly recommend.

We camp here at least once a year. Our kids love it, and we usually don’t even visit the parks! Just spent Halloween there for the first time and will definitely do that again. There’s a ton to do and see and it’s always a great time!

The campsites are long, pretty, and comfortable. It has been fun to see all of the Christmas decorations. The swimming pool was warm even in November and the poolside trivia games were cute. The bicycle trails were perfect. Our dog loved the dog park. The buses were convenient, as was the water taxi to and from Magic Kingdom. We had a wonderful time. In the time of Covid, thank you so much!!

El sofá cama , suena muchocuando uno se mueve, cobran por el parqueo cuando debería estar incluído👎 las camas no son tan largas, queda uno con los pies colgando, Pero en general es un bonito ambiente y mucha naturaleza.

Es camping al estilo Disney, todo muy limpio organizado y con el tono magico de Disney. los baños el transporte los espacios todo a la perfección. Lo unico malo que tambien es el toque Magico...son los precios, todo es excesivamente costoso. Mi consejo: lleven todo lo que se nesecita para acampar, agua sodas pan leche en fin lo que quieran comer y puedan cocinar.

Un sitio muy lindo para acampar ... Super recomendado
