“A very nice hotel on a good location. The hotel is modern and sleek, the rooms are also modern and comfortable with lots of wood and comfortable bedding and fairly good electronics. My room was a corner loft suite, not inexpensive, at about 450 sq feet and a view of the street below. The large screen tv didn’t always work well due to the fact that is connected by SoFi but otherwise the room was well equipped.
The staff were quite nice and attentive and well trained and professional. My requests were handled in short order and to my satisfaction.
The hotel has a rooftop bar with absolutely stunning views of Barcelona and a very good vibe. The Punch Bar is one of my favorite spots in the city with a great vibe and a really comfortable setting. The downstairs bar and restaurant in the lobby is simple and, while nice, a bit of a letdown. It’s much less luxurious than the rooftop and punch bar and more akin to a modern coffee shop than a high end bar and restaurant. The food throughout was good and the service was very good.
The area is good but not great. It’s not near the good shopping or high end dining which are generally reachable by taxi or a 20 minute walk.
I’d also say this is a very nice and comfortable four star hotel not really a five star. All in all it was quite nice.”
