“Cozy and charming small hotel in the midst of a thriving neighborhood. This is a 100 year old establishment so the charm is wonderful. Very clean, attentive staff, and comfortable. Lovely building, continental breakfast is great, coffee all the time and water pitchers ready with ice cold water. Room was comfortable. Had 2 king (maybe queen) size beds and lots of room to spread out. In room refrigerator and an honor system with the room goodies. Love the bathrobe they provided. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had nearby parking (extra) with in and out privileges. Loved the location and the neighborhood. Would have been nice to have more shelving in the bathroom -- but, it is a 100 year old building. My husband would have liked a couch. The air conditioner was a little noisy. But would recommend this hotel to anyone (caveat: if people need efficient, bland hotel chains they would probably not like this -- and they would be missing out). ”

“I felt safe and comfortable travelling alone. The hotel is nestled in a quiet little neighborhood with plenty of joggers and strollers throughout the day. Lots of grocery stores and restaurants in walking distance. The room was dark and quiet at night making for a great night's sleep. The staff was great and I realy liked having a portable heater in the room to make it nice and warm.”
