This was the second stay at this hotel. I was impressed the first time, and more so the second time. It had the elegance of a high-end hotel, with the ambience of a hotel straight out of the 40s. I saw other reviews about pricing, personally I don’t understand where this is coming from? The rooms are priced competitively and comparable to other hotels of lower quality. The staff was very friendly, in fact, I thought they went out of their way to be friendly. The rooms were clean and well decorated within walking distance to just about everywhere. I very highly recommend staying here. We are coming back in March :)

Great place to stay. Room we have always had is large, tall ceilings and spacious bathrooms. Normal amenities for the room. Great bar downstairs and lobby is awesome space to sit and relax. Christmas is a great time to visit. The place is located in great spot down town with lots of food and entertainment all in walking distance. Parking garage is located right behind the building or you can always use the valet. Really a beautiful building and great place to stay.

Pros: This hotel has beautiful historic architecture and some excellent people working at the front desk. Cons: some of the employees were not accommodating towards disabled veterans with service animals. This is a beautifully decorated historic hotel in downtown Oklahoma City with nicely furnished rooms. Most of the staff was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. Skyler and Brittany at the front desk were particularly helpful. Ericka in the restaurant was also especially kind to us. Unfortunately, some of the employees at the restaurant inside the hotel did not want to wait on my husband or serve us. My husband is a disabled vet who uses a service animal to assist him. We were treated very rudely at the restaurant by the restaurant manager. My husband remained calm and called the hotel’s guest relations line for assistance. After speaking with the hotel management, we were allowed to sit in the restaurant and eat breakfast, but it ruined our experience at this hotel. If you do not need a service animal to assist you then you should enjoy this hotel and it’s restaurant without any problems. If you are disabled, you may want to look for another hotel that is more accommodating to people with disabilities.

Honestly, a fairly mediocre experience for the price. Pros: The old school architecture is truly beautiful. The lobby, halls, elevators all feel like something reminiscent of the hotel in the movie the shining. Cons: The rooms themselves weren’t particularly anything to write home about. You have to pay for an upgraded room to even have a mini fridge. The TV was small and outdated. The bed and pillows weren’t very comfy. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t strong. The staff, while not particularly rude, wasn’t particularly friendly at all. It seemed to be a strain for them to even put on their customer service smiles. The food wasn’t exceptional at all, but I’ve yet to find a fine dining experience in Oklahoma City worth the price, so it may just be problem with the area. I ordered the heavenly duck for dinner (far from heavenly) and the Greek yogurt parfait for breakfast. I literally had to dump half of the granola in the trash, and it still somehow overwhelmed the rest of it. Overall I can’t say I’ll be spending more money to return here anytime soon.

I love this hotel! Gorgeous lobby and wonderful helpful staff especially the staff at the Piano Bar. Comfortable room on a quiet floor. Lovely 1 night stay. Although I do not believe in ghosts, the drawer in the bathroom vanity was open in the morning which I did not open the night before. Very odd. Despite my visitors, I would stay again.
